Say Something Nice About Yourself

We had a "say something nice about the person below you" thread...

and

people cut you down so often in life, whether knowingly or not... sometimes subtly and sometimes overtly. Sometimes they do it so often you start to believe them.

So, say something nice about yourself. Maybe something that nobody else really knows.

I'll start.

I'm the best ever at taking care of sick people. Concerned but not hovering. I don't mind cleaning up all messes, even the icky ones. If you want to sleep on the bathroom floor where you're curled up, I'll get you a blanket and stay close by until you can get up and make it to bed.

I stop on the road to move turtles out of the way of cars. I take in stray dogs (more than anyone needs.) I pick up litter.

I love my daughter more than life itself.

I try to be thoughtful in my portrayal of characters in my stories because I realize some people might identify with them and I wouldn't want to be cavalier about someone's personal pain.
