Say a Prayer Please

I received a very sad e mail from Renegade this morning. He has been ill for awhile and things have taken a turn for the worse. Please if you have time today say a prayer for him. He wanted his friends here to know why he hasn't been online lately.

I knew he said he was taking a break but I didn't realize he was ill. While this sounds crass, can I ask if it is a life threatening condition? I'm still thinking about Mensa and wondering what happened to him. I'm not close to Renegade, but I know his good friends would want to know if something happened to him. Not knowing is very hard.

And of course I'll add him to my prayers. Please give him my best wishes, too.

No its not crass, just natural. It is serious and life threatening but there is always hope. And yes thinking of Mensa made me start this thread. Its always hard when distances are great and sometimes we just get busy with other stuff and don't notice how time flies by.

A quick responce....

Thanks to everyone who has responded to this thread, it really does mean a lot to me. It's getting late here and I was about to head off to bed, but wanted to respond here before hitting the sack.

I'd rather not go into the details on what's going on with me, but I'll say that I'm heading back to the doctors tomorrow and hopefully there will be good news to bring back. Everyone says I'll be okay but it's hard to feel relaxed when the occasional flash of pain hits me from time to time. The medical problems has actually been fairly recent and it's a coincidence that it happened while I was away from the board. I'm trying to keep faith that things will be better with some stronger meds and a possible small operation. I'll let you all know what's been going on tomorrow after the doctor apointment and I get some rest.

Also, I wanted to quickly apologize to my friends from here who I've kept in the dark as of late. Hope they realize that it's just been pretty hard for me and I'm sorry for leaving them wondering for so long.
