To show how bad things are for Ted Cruz, former House Speaker John Boehner recently compared Ted Cruz to "Lucifer in the flesh."

Omg!! I actually read a full post from you!! I still didn't click on the link, but it's a start.

I didn't see paradise lost but I thought the general consensus was that God is good and Satan is evil. Evil is full of hypocrisy but "to deny services to any with different values"...how can anyone use that logic to condemn another person's values? How do they do it without laughing?

Maybe the new mission of evil is to confuse us so we will just nod and smile. Pearly whites guys...teeth, not the gates

One thing to note, in Milton's work Satan portrays God as a tyrant. Based on how it picks and chooses who lives when floods, tornadoes or earthquakes happen, there is a ring of truth to that thought.

But Cruz put the nail in his coffin with the no sex toys crap. Proof his idea of 'family values' is no pleasure for women, they don't deserve it and of course the fact toys make little men like him insecure

I'll skip genital mutilation because thats an easy button to push. What about child marriages? Honor killings? These are beliefs held by cultures that are very different from ours. I'm not going to quote stats, those are easily found and you can argue the validity of them all day. Do Satanists allow both of these and consider them ok? Spanking children? Allowing them to use drugs and have sex. Sex with minors when both parties consent?

Where all morality really starts; from social consensus.

Fortunately, said consensus is constantly evolving, so the Bronze Age morality espoused by the fundamentalist forms of the Abrahamic religions (slavery, murder, incest, infanticide, genocide, sexism, racism, etc.) have been largely been marginalized in the more secular societies.

It is better to have references to back up a reasoned argument than just throw unsupported suppositions around and treat them as if they were fact, great harm has been caused by people in power doing just that.

Do as you will as long as you do no harm is a great rule to live by. I would encourage more folks to live that way.
