I have come to "preach" to all of those out there who are in search of a better life! To those who are tired of being repressed for your natural and carnal insticts by the churches of the right-hand path! I will "preach" a new "sermon" each day so that I may get the truth out! each "sermon" will address one of the nine Satanic statements. Some topics may be addressed on more than one "sermon." If anyone becomes intrested in what I speak then go out and get yourselves a Satanic Bible by Anton Szandor LaVey. There may be more Satanic Bibles out there but this is the one that I will quote during my "sermons." First things first I will name all nine of the Satanic staments as written in the bible.

1: Satan represents indulgence, instead of abstinence!

2: Satan represents vital existence, instead of spiritual pipe dreams!

3: Satan represents undefiled wisdom, instead of hypocritical self-deceit!

4: Satan represents kindness to those who deserve it, instead of love wasted on ingrates!

5: Satan represents vengeance, instead of turning the other cheek!

6: Satan represtents responsibility to the responsible, instead of concern for psychic vampires!

7: Satan represents man as just another animal, sometimes better, more often worse than those that walk on all-fours, who, because of his "divine spiritual and intellectual development," has become the most visious animal of all!

8: Satan represents all of the so-called sins, as they all lead to physical, mental, and emotional gratification!

9: Satan has been the best friend the church has ever had, as he has kept it in business all thse years!

I'm not a big fan on religion as a whole, but I've always felt that Satanism is pretty second-rate. It's a mirror image to Christianity. Its whole focus is to be anti-Christ. It's like when my kid sister would get pissy and say the opposite of whatever I said. Drove me crazy on long car trips.

Many people mistake indugence for compulsion. There is a world of difference between the to though. Compulsion is created not by indulgence, but instead by the LACK OF indulgence! You as well as everyone else has to admit that something that is forbidden is indeed craved more than ever. "By making something taboo, it only serves to intensify the desire." This is the big mistake the church has made. They create rules and guidelines for there followers to abide by that only cause them to do it more, even though they may "burn in hell" for it!
"Webster's Encyclopedic Dictionary defines indugence thusly: "To give oneself up to; not to restrain or oppose; to give free course to; to gratify by compliance; to yield to." The dictionary definition of compulsion is: "The act of compelling or driving by force, physical or moral; constraint of the will; (compulsory, obligatory)." In other words impulsion implies choice, whereas compulsion indivates the lack of choice."
The words comply and conform are other words sonanamis with compulsion. In any name, compulsion is truly the lack of free will!
Society is a breeding ground of compulsion - with all of its rules and regulation!
"When a person has no proper release for his desires they rapidly build up and become compultions." "If everyone had a particular time and place for the purpose of periodically indulging in their personal desires, without fear of embarrassment or reproach, they would be sufficiently released to lead unfrustrated lives in the everyday world."

Uhhhh... so? Are we going to be on some kind of list or something? I'm a Christian, if you're keeping track.

I agree with Laurel though. Satanism, more than anything, (at least in that book) seems to be just a satire of Christianity, not meant to be taken seriously but just there to irk Christians. So that's how I take it, as a satire, only not funny.

Besides, how could you worship someone who wears red tights?
