 Oh, no! Look at what the Liberal Media did!
AlaskaReport has learned this morning that Todd Palin and former Alaska governor Sarah Palin are to divorce. Multiple sources in Wasilla and Anchorage have confirmed the news. A National Enquirer story exposing previous affairs on both sides led to a deterioration of their marriage and the stress from that led to Palin's resignation as governor of Alaska.

...Sarah has recently purchased land in Montana and is considering moving the family there. Sarah is originally from Idaho. Todd Palin told Fox News last week that he was heading back to his job in the oil fields of Alaska.
News from here.
Well. I feel terribly guilty.

I'm waiting for a more reliable source to report this.

Damn me and my lack of confidence in her personal integrity. I made her do it because I was such a naysayer.

does any one actually care:confused:

Caring is really on a scale from "Oh no, those poor people in that tragedy" and "Huh. Well, isn't that ironic considering what that person said."

This is the latter side of that scale.

And the shocker is... Nothing. Whenever things get tough she leaves. She's not as much of a fighter as people think she is. :( Knowing that, they should let her take care of her family in peace.

"Alaska: the odds are good, but the goods are odd." So true.

On a side note I moved up there with a pilot friend of mine right after college. It was great. We were young, hiked and explored, played tons of video games in the winter, went fishing. But, the few times we encountered romance, the women were either: A) Running from something. B) Had a dozen kids. C) Were into drugs. D) Crazy!

I left. He still lives there. He's 39 and single. Still has yet to have a girlfriend. Does that say anything about the odds up there. (And yes, it may say something about my friend too. But honest, he's a pilot, nice guy, ok looking, intelligent as hell, no bad habits, has some money. I mean c'mon. Have to blame the state and its odds. ;) )

Maybe if he choose to be gay instead? You can choose your sexual orientation, right?

So, you're suggesting it should be Todd who moves out of the state rather than Sarah? :D

Exactly! At least then my friend will have one more psychotic woman to have a chance with. :D

Disclaimer - I met many a fine women in AK; however, it appeared they were all from somewhere else and they were all taken. :)

Granted. I let my desire to spread the news get the better of my journalistic integrity. That couldn't be the influence of the internet, could it?

It's not the liberal media, clearly the gays are at fault for destroying the sanctity of straight marriage.

 Ohmygawd! You're so right! All those states voting in gay marriage, and promising that nothing would change...then you get Senator Sanford, and all those other Republicans with mistresses, and now Sarah Palin.....

I had no idea gays had such power!

Wait! Wait! It might not be true! Sarah's facebook page says it's all rumors and lies!

Thank heavens! The marriage remains in tact! And she's not moving to Montana!

Does this mean that gay marriage doesn't undo traditional marriage?

Jesus, honeybunch, I've been phoning and IMing people and laughing my ass off at her. "Affairs on both sides!" What a hoot!!

I've always thought she was a cheap, shallow, narcissistic bitch and it's really hard to think of bad things happening to her without smiling. Ahhhhh, schadenfreude! Rich and creamy, sweet and filling, kinda like nougat. Really toothsome.

<smacking lips at the tastiness of it all>

Gawd, I shall be so disappointed if it isn't!!

Tsk, tsk. Actual interest in a defeated vice-presidential candidate? Isn't that a classic symptom of having no life, at all? :D :D :D

No, VM, this is pure malicious enjoyment. But you're right, I should be doing something more than just wallowing in the pure satisfaction of it all, so I'm going to go see if I can clean out a few things in the garage to get rid of.

Oh, one last nugget to add to this: if they really are divorcing (let's hear it for family values!), it should be noted that the article stated that Sarah has just signed an $11M book contract. Say, did you know that Alaska is a community property state? They're one of 10 in the US. This means that Todd is likely to become the richest oilfield worker out there. He'll have a claim on half of the advance, plus, arguably, the proceeds from any add'l royalties. (I'm doubting this book w/ fly off the shelves personally, but we shall see. Certainly, a $5.5M payday is going to probably do nicely for anyone.)

And I just am sure that Sarah is going to hate that a lot. She's always struck me as a vindictive, spiteful person.

So am I. Any mouse and the National Enquirer are not exactly bastions of reilability. I'm not saying the reports are false; I'm just saying I look on them with a doubt.

Oh no! First it was J-Lo and K-Fed, then John and Kate, now it's Sarah and Todd! It truly shakes ones belief in the sanctity of marriage between a man and a woman.

All this time I thought the Enquirer was just bird cage liner, never knew anyone but the birds read it!
