Sapio sexual male for female accomplice

Hi, I'm not really new to Lit, but I haven't been in some time. I'm upper 30's male, intelligent with an established career, sometim
es witty, often sarcastic, and laid back guy next door type. I like the distraction of getting to know someone new and discovering common interests or different points of view. I miss the playfulness of flirting and looking forward to hearing from that special person on a daily basis. I've had that special connection before and I'm here hoping I can find it again. We all have our kinks but making a connection through conversation makes talking about sex that much better. Sorry but I'm not really looking for role play. Any women out there wanting something similar?

Sapiosexual sounds like such a pretentious title. You could easily just say that you're looking for intelligent women, educated women, or [insert adjective] women. But whatever floats your boat.

Good luck, though! I hope you find what you're looking for! :)

Thank you

I was always taught that if you can't say something nice, don't say anything.

Omg. It's not an insult, calm down. I just said that it sounds pretentious, not that you're pretentious. Use whatever title you want.

And I was being sincere when I wished you well on your search.

Seems like an unnecessary critique, but I appreciate your sincerity.

It is said that you can judge the caliber of a man by the caliber of his enemies. Making an enemy of poor lil Elsie will not do your reputation any favors.

Don't worry, no one is being marked to kill here. I don't want to derail his thread any further. Sorry @Sapiosexual367

Hmmm that took a strange turn but here's hoping Sapio's post can get back on track and he finds the woman he is looking for. :)

Probably not very original to say you want someone intelligent. No one ever says they want to chat with an idiot.

I'm going to respond in order to bump your thread as well as further pursue this whole thing. But in regards to your statement: You'd be surprised. People (especially around here) often settle for dumb and willing vs. intelligent and reserved.

Some may not outright state that they want a retard to have (cyber/real/phone)sex with, but they really wouldn't state the opposite either. Some don't even give a shit about conversation, so it's entirely irrelevant to even state that intelligence is what they're looking for because it's not on their mind. Like, if an intelligent person is willing to settle and do stuff with a person who doesn't care if they're intelligent, then both parties win.

If I want dumb and willing, the RVA is chock full. I do enjoy a good chat with a quality intelligent woman. What I do not like is being expected to jump through hoops for a woman who cannot compel a man to do so in real life.

That wouldn't be your fault, then. It'd be the other person's fault for asking the unreasonable out of you. I'd say move on to someone else at the first glimpse of something like that.

Also, I don't know what an RVA is. It sounds like a electronics brand.

I am a fellow (female) sapiosexual. As a lover of words and the English language, I do not find your ID pretentious at all. It weeds out a lot of people.

I consider myself witty and sarcastic as well. I was an English Lit major in college. I used to be a librarian (by day) and a belly dancer (by night). Now I'm looking for a job and working on a novel. 86K words in and it's still not done. My characters turned a simple romance into an epic adventure. I'm a nerd and love SF/F. I read all the time. Currently I'm reading Seabiscuit and A Stone in Heaven (old school SF). Just finished up The Girl on the Train and was underwhelmed.

Oh, I'm also a certified editor and proofreader.

@Jacques

I have in the past, but only local to me (PhillyPA). I've performed at PhilCon and Gaylaxicon.

Cool, I don't know too many dancers that far south, but a good friend of mine lives in Columbia, MD, so I might be able to stop and see her and head farther south.

That's just it. No one actually says it. For many it probably is irrelevant. But there are those of us that appreciate conversation and intelligence.
