In a town full of beautiful people it shouldn't be tough for a decent looking guy to find a nice girl to share an evening with, but when you're shy and the town in question is SB, it can be a lot harder than it ought to be. I thought it would be nice if Santa Barbarians [sic] who aren't into the Isla Vista party scene had a place to post up and meet.
I admit to having an ulterior motive, which is that my roommate is going to Vegas for the weekend, leaving me in my new apartment for the first time alone, and I'd love to find a girl in her twenties (I'm 24) that wanted to come over, watch movies and share drinks.
Regardless, any locals should feel free to post up and make connections - I can't be the only Santa Barbarian that frequents this site.
