Sangria

do you make it? do you have a favorite recipe for it?

I made some yesterday and am looking forward to enjoying the finished product tonight.

I used a Trinity Oaks Zinfandel which is very peppery with hints of cherry and oak.

half a cup of brandy
1 nectarine
1 pint of strawberries
a bunch of champagne grapes
and an orange
3 tablespoons of sugah

mix it all together, leave it overnight and today I'll mix it half n half with some asti spumanti.

I am slowly becoming a fan of sangria.

A friend of mine gave me a glass when I was over @ her place and I really liked it.

It was rasberry sangria ...

How about you?

I might replace the orange with a lime, but other than that it sounds great. I found a great tapas bar recently and I love to go there and browse all those yummy apptizers and sip sangria!
