Jin sighed, looking ahead at the long road in front of him. His ronin attire fluttered gently in the light breeze that pushed his black bangs into his face and tugged his short ponytail around his shoulders. His katana and wakizashi clinked noisily at his hip, ready to be drawn with a second's notice. One arm rested in his garb as though it was in a sling and his other hug at his side; the classic sign of a ronin.
Glancing over his wire-frame glasses, he checked on Mugen beside him and Fuu up ahead, who was bouncing with energy though they hadn't eaten all day.
He had lost count of the number of days that he and Mugen had been freed from their encroaching execution and employed by Fuu to find a samurai that smelled like sunflowers. Even Mugen knew that such a task was impossible, since Fuu had no other details about this man besides that. Yet, they were bound by honor to follow and guard her on her wild goose chase.
In fact, it wasn't even honor that seemed to hold the three together. Mugen and Jin had both attempted to run away numerous times, but somehow they always found themselves back together again in a matter of days. It seemed that fate's warped sense of humor was always holding the three together, no matter how much their personalities clashed.
Mugen was a vagabond with no class, education or etiquette whatsoever. His fighting style was his own; entirely sporadic with thousands upon thousands of open spots, and yet he seemed to be the best swordsman Jin had ever faced before. Half the reason he hadn't tried to run away was because after they found this sunflower samurai, he had promised to kill Jin.
Fuu was a young, energetic, and admittedly attractive girl. She used to be a waitress...until Mugen and Jin accidentally burned her family's restaurant to the ground during their first fight. She always seemed to be hungry and one should make a mental note to keep their hands and feet away from her mouth during meals. She seemed to be a bottomless pit, able to eat nauseating amounts of food without gaining any weight. Perhaps it was all the walking that they did.
Jin himself was a wandering swordsman who practiced the art of Mujushin Kenjutsu. Unlike Mugen, the sword wasn't his only form of defense, as he also studied jujutsu, which allowed him to disarm opponents while attempting to get his blades back. He was unnaturally calm, even facing death. He hardly ever raised his voice and rarely smiled. Fuu apparently saw him as the intellectual strongpoint of the group, because she always asked him when she needed a big decision to be made.

OOC: Yes, I know that Fuu was 15 in the show, but for the purpose of the rules, I'm raising it to 18. So sue me.
I haven't actually seen the end of the anime (not enough time or money to get the DVDs) so for this let's say they're still searching for the samurai.
Still need people to play Mugen and Fuu. Once those two have been taken then we can include some of the people they might meet along the way.
