The entire government of Samoa is shut down today so the country can focus on reining in a measles outbreak that has killed at least 62 people in recent weeks. More than 4,200 cases have been reported, and the rapid spread of the disease has forced the government to close schools and ban children from public gatherings in an effort to contain it. The Pacific island nation officially declared a state of emergency over the outbreak on November 15 and has been hammering a massive vaccination campaign ever since. Almost all civil servants are expected to help public health officials over the next two days to get as many people vaccinated as possible.

yeah, measles. that 'oh, you should let your kids catch it, it's nothin' disease. why do people forget so quickly? it was the 'done thing' to let your kids catch teh diseases there were not vaccines for because it harmed kids less (in general numbers) than if they caught it as adults. fucking VACCINATE YOUR KIDS, ffs!

Used to be that way back in the day with Rickets, then they started giving free milk away and promoting sunlight. ruined a whole career structure for the poor.

You believe in time travelling vaccines then?

I don't know why more people don't notice the contradictions in the pro-vax claims. how anti-science and anti-logic they are.

“An outbreak of measles occurred in a high school with a documented vaccination level of 98 per cent.”
https://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pmc/articles/PMC1646939/

“Vaccination coverage for the population was 99%. Incomplete vaccination coverage is not a valid explanation for the Quebec City measles outbreak. ”
https://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pubmed/1884314

“The epidemiology of measles in Cape Town has thus changed as evinced in this epidemic, with an increase in the number of cases occurring in older, previously vaccinated children.”
http://www.biomedsearch.com/nih/1992-measles-epidemic-in-Cape/7740350.html

as for "vaccinate your fucking kids"? Do you have no creativity or imagination at all to come up with something new to say, or can you only repeat a line without thought?

Here's some homework for you; find a peer reviewed scientific study with a proper blind-tested and randomized control groups of totally unvaccinated versus vaccinated to show that vaccines actually provide any protection at all. Let's stick to the science! Don't cite some website making claims, cite the actual fucking study. Read it too, make sure it really does have TOTALLY UNVACCINATED.

You do realise to find the actual study online is difficult, the major hurdle is the study's are published internal, they are not "put online, so to speak".

I like this one, if you notice the author is also mentioned in the Quebec 1991 outbreak quote you used. ( a bit more about that quote later)

Or this one

Now also, thank you for posting to graphics, both of which show the decline in measles mortality rates. Seems the rate of death per 100,000 has been declining since the 1800's. Even though the vaccine has only been around since 1961. While that is true, the "mortality rate" has declined, mainly through better health care. At one time measles may not have been the purveyor of death, just enough to bring down the bodies immune system, so another illness, say pneumonia would set in. The combination would result in death.

Illustrated below

"In the decade before 1963 when a vaccine became available, nearly all children got measles by the time they were 15 years of age. It is estimated 3 to 4 million people in the United States were infected each year. Also each year, among reported cases, an estimated 400 to 500 people died, 48,000 were hospitalized, and 1,000 suffered encephalitis (swelling of the brain) from measles."

If the above was in 1863, do you think the death total would only be 400-500?

Both the graph you have linked show exactly the above.

Now, let us look at the Quebec city out break in 1991 ( which was smaller than the last one in 2011 btw) quote you pasted.

"“Vaccination coverage for the population was 99%. Incomplete vaccination coverage is not a valid explanation for the Quebec City measles outbreak. ”

First, the report was written in French, not English, which is very important. When you translate ( sometimes online translators are not the best choice) a document from one language to another, certain words may fit the meaning, but distort the meaning when taken out of context.

The quote is accurate, except out of context.

Wow, so much misinformation and distortion there from the paid liars at the CDC. It wasn't that much "every year" but only at the height of epidemics decades before the vaccine and by the 1950s, still BEFORE the vaccine, the number of cases had already dropped to only hundreds of thousands.

In the USA, in 1900 there were 13.3 measles deaths per 100,000 population. By 1955, the death rate was 0.03 deaths per 100,000, a decline of 97.7%, 8 years before the 1st measles shot.

The drop in measles cases actually began before the vaccine was licensed. I doubt very much that merely licensing a product would result in such a change.

The down trend began long BEFORE the mass vaccinations started so asserting that vaccines were responsible for this is just another absurd, unscientific lie spread by the corrupt government agencies and medical industry.

All you have is a VERY POOR correlation argument asserting that a reduction in mortality from diseases is due to vaccines – yet you have no scientific studies with properly done double-blind tests and control groups of totally unvaccinated versus vaccinated that shows vaccines protect anyone.

and what is not mentioned there is that the majority of those who died were VACCINATED against the Measles. The vaccine doesn't protect anyone. The claim that the Measles vaccine works has never been supported by any scientific studies with properly done double-blind tests and control groups of totally unvaccinated versus vaccinated.

Nobody should vaccinate when you ignorant fuckers can't cite scientific studies with properly done double-blind tests and control groups of totally unvaccinated versus vaccinated to show that vaccines protect anyone at all.

You only have a correlation argument asserting that a reduction in mortality from diseases is due to vaccines - but have no scientific studies with properly done double-blind tests and control groups of totally unvaccinated versus vaccinated that shows vaccines protect anyone.

You'll also turn around and dishonestly dismiss a correlation argument when vaccines are shown to be related to a rise in autoimmune diseases (such as diabetes), neural development disorders, allergies, and autism.

So, correlation is “true” when your vaccines are claimed to do good deeds, but it’s “false” when your vaccines are claimed to be correlated to harm.

Can't have it both ways, you illogical, dishonest, vaccine-addicted crazies.
