Same most read Poets

Correct me if I'm wrong, after having been a member here for almost 3 years with wonderful feedback, I wonder why after checking the board for the most read poetry and stories, the names and persons are still the same and one. Most of their stories and poems are wonderful, just curious as to why even when critiques of work are positive why the same names, the same work appear to have been read 20 times and then some and the rest of the members of which there are numerous never get shown here. I read and often search for new work from newer members, but as I have found out the award and top and most read boards continue to have the same names?

Max, I'm not sure why some poets get on the most read list and others don't. I do know that illustrated poems and audio poems tend to get more views than the regular ones. The poems that get recommended in the new poems thread here are just the ones that the individual reviewer liked, so that's subjective. Anyway, anyone can do a review and recommend their own or others' poems. The only reason we started that daily review thread is so *someone* would look at new poems each day, but it's not exclusive by any means.

When I did reviews, I know I tended to recommend stuff by the same people, but that's simply because I liked their poems. I always tried to recommend stuff by new people, too. If I like a poem, it doesn't matter who wrote it. Still, there are a handful of people who submit a poem at least every few days, so maybe some people get recommended more because their volume of poems the reviewers like is higher.

Thanks so much for your clarification, I had totally forgot that people are doing audio and visual. I suppose being a freelance photographer I should consider posting some fetish pics along with my words.
