Salvation instead of anti-guns

The Awful Truth reports that congressmen are putting up the ten commandments in their offices, to show their support for schools putting the commandments up, in order to teach the school children to not use their constitutional right to buy tools for killing. If only those guys in Columbine had read the commandments, perhaps they wouldn't have murdered all those people..?

Religion is like marriage. Or football. You pick one (god, husband, team), and you stick with it.

Which is why I don't want to get re-married. I don't like the idea of sticking with anything or anyone. I prefer choosing to be with someone because he treats me well and makes me feel lucky to have him in my life. The local basketball team here sucks. I cheer for them at the games, but if I would meet anyone of them in town, I'd ask him if they have ever heard that basketball is supposed to be a TEAM sport.

The only reason I cheer for them is becaus ewe have no alternatives. And I think it's a much bigger compliment to a team or a man if I support them/love him best of all the options there are, instead of just because there's nothing else to choose from.

Svenska- I agree with you. Loving one exclusively is the epitome of love and an ideal we should all strive for.
