And cycling 8 km through 20 cm of sno at 23:00 is also fun. Especially after 6 hours of lectures.

Yay me.

it snows here about once every ten years, and then it melts the minute it hits the ground. :D

I don't remember the last time it snowed here in November.

Three years ago we got sleet. I remember because I was at the American Residence here and had some good sauvignon. And a stuck-up right-wing boy making ad hominem attacks against me because I disagreed with Israel's policy towards Palestinians.

What joyous memories.

It has snowed so hard on some parts of the UK that school children ( and I assume their teachers!) have been stranded!

It's pissy cold here. I wish it would snow, so it at least would look nice, even though it will still feel terible.

Winter sucks ass.

Was it hard or soft?

Depends. I lived in too many places up north to say either or. It all sucked after a while though.

The worst place I lived was also the longest. Cape Cod. Not just cold for at least six months of the year but humid as hell. (It's great fun when it's 15° with a humidity of 100%.) 23 years of dealing with the cold sunk so far into your bones you could soak for several hours in a hot tub and still be chilled.

And people wonder why I moved to Florida.

The snow here right now is about a foot deep, still falling like crazy and compacting into heavy, wet ... well, white stuff.

Spent an hour and a half shovelling it ... by the time I take the car to my lectures I'll have to shovel again.

Urgh.

Better than taking the bike tho' - bike tracks haven't been cleared yet.
