Two months.
Two months of dating and Joe decided to tell her that he just didn't feel a connection with her. On top of that he told her that he knew this on their second date... which was when they had their first kiss and make out session in his car. They had continued to date. They met each other's friends and had sex three times. All the while, he KNEW he wasn't that into her... or so he says.
Kat didn't know what to do. She had been in shock. It wasn't until she got to her car did she call the one person she told everything to... her older brother. At first she was fine but as she explained what happened, her voice cracked and lips trembled. She was glad he had picked up the phone and could hear his voice. She missed him ever since he moved out to live with Karen. Though she hardly seemed to ever be home with him. It seemed like every time she talked to her brother, Karen was out for work or with friends.
This weekend was no exception. Karen was gone and Kat had an invite to hang out with her brother. She missed him a lot. She parked her car and took the pizza she promised with her. When she could she knocked on the door and then quickly smoothed some stray pieces of newly bleached blonde hair. The last time her brother saw her, she had been a red head.
