Ok...so here's the deal...I had just finished my grocery shopping and was wheeling my cart out to my truck. I load my stuff and put the cart back in one of those little corrals. At the same time, this guy in the parking lane directly across from me finishes loading his stuff and I see him taking his cart to a different corral. I should note that I left the store at the same time as this fellow and his wife/girlfriend.

I turn my back to get into my truck and I look up and I see horrified shoppers staring at me. At this point, I realize something is wrong and I look into the rear view mirror and I see a cart coming right for my vehicle. He (the guy who was taking his cart to a different corral) apparently decided to launch his cart at my truck...UNPROVOKED. I didn't do a FUCKING thing!!! I hadn't even spoken to this moron. I turn off my truck and get out and I immediately hear this witness say...I'd launch that cart right back at his #$#%@@ truck, another woman stops me and tells me who did it and the moron is sitting in his truck with his wife/girlfriend waiting to see what I will do.

What would you have done?

probably would have given him the finger.........launched the cart back and drove away:mad:

Hmm, taken his license plate number and the phone number of a witness? I do believe any sort of attack on your person or property is illegal.

Really that happened?

You should have flashed your tits and told him (with his wife listening) that just because of that you were never gonna let him fuck you again - so take one last look - because its over!

i would probably go with Never.
Name of a witness and license number and leave.
definite problems so you do not know what he would do next if you confronted him.

Yes, it really happened. About an hour ago. I have no idea why? Maybe he was having a crappy day. Maybe I had a sign on my ass that said "fuck with me"...who knows.

Although My Initail Reaction Would Be..

Otherewise, I have to agree with these two.

However, Dilly's answer is funny.

kgboot

Well, what did you do? If you didn't get the witnesses number and you didn't get the license plate, not much you can do about it now. That is so wierd that he would do that for no reason! *hears the Twilight Zone theme* I do like the Dillenger's answer though :D

well?!

don't leave me hanging here... how did the story end?

:D

(or did i miss it somehow?)

What is it with people and shopping carts lately? I was in the K-Mart parking lot the other day, sitting in the car waiting for my friend who just ran in to get...um...female supplies. It was warmish out so I opened my door a crack (the window on that side is broken, power windows suck ass). Well, the guy in the next car thinks I have my door open too far, even though I was in the process of shutting it when I saw him walk toward his car, so he methodically parks his cart directly behind my friend's car.

I thought the whole situation was rather odd. However, I'm learning that people are getting weirder as time goes on...or more bold with their actions. I literally saw him head to a corral with his cart..why he turned around and sent it sailing my direction I don't know...I didn't say or do anything to him or his wife/girlfriend.

Anyway...

I didn't do anything...I chose to put the cart away and get in my truck and leave. He waited and watched me do this. Too many shootings around here as of late and I decided that a shopping cart in the tailgate of my truck was not worth a possible bullet in my brain.

Yes, good advice. I know better than to go shopping alone in the evenings around here or even to the ATM for that matter. Not to long ago women were being taken from parking lots and off to secluded locations to be raped.

*shivers* :(

Handy rules of thumb...

I think you did the right thing by NOT getting ruffled or confrontational--especially since it sounds like no damage was actually caused. What he wanted was a response--it's a real disappointment when jerks like that don't get one.

You never know what the other person is thinking or what their intentions are so don't go in harm's way. My top rule.

I would have whipped out my handy-dandy cellphone and called the cops on his ass right in the parking lot. But be prepared to run if needed!

I would have done the same thing. It sounds kinda wimpy but I would have been freaked and just want out of there. Now!
