After several years of studying major team sports around the world, I have determined that rugby league is one of the most exciting, all around great sports.

Hockey is the best sport, of course, but of the rest of the rest, I would say its rugby league. I had no preconceived bias when I began this inquiry a few years ago so my conclusion is unarguable fact (as is 90% of what I say).

Since most North Americans are unfamilar with the game (its not the same as rugby union). Here's a sample from the top pro league in the world:

It should appeal to Americans, since its got fast paced hard-hitting action, and its very similar to American football (it has 6 tackles per possession, similar to football's 4 downs). Its the sport most closely like American football in the world.

Seems like fun, but like American football too much time spend falling down & getting back up.

Maybe but the rush of the game goes for 80 minutes with NO time out or change from offence to defence, these 13 do it all and only have 4 on the interchange bench...

With all the falling down, why would they need a break?
