This is more for the moderators of the forum, but not sure where would I post it, so posting it here.
Lots of popular sites offer RSS syndication (e.g. NYTimes, CNN, BBC etc ). It doesnt really take much to set this up, and at the same time it would be a great idea to deliver the titles and the story briefs as they are being posted. That way people can know that a new story has been posted even if they are not logged on to the site.
