As a child who didn't go to sleep scared at night thinking that a vampire or bogyman was going to show up and eat them alive? Well, randomly named tabloid reporter guy never really had that worry, casting it off as silly superstition early in life. As a result, one wouldn't expect him to be a tabloid reporter, but when things get tense and bills pile up, what's a guy to do?

In fact, it is those very bills piling up that got him kicked out of his last apartment, so lately he's been looking for a new place to stay. It is then that he sees an ad for a vacancy in an apartment and suddenly things start to look up. It doesn't take him too long in this new apartment to notice that few strange things are going on, and not all of the tenants seem to be entirely there.

Randomly named tabloid reporter guy doesn't realize it, but he has just moved into an apartment where all of the tenants are the monsters he writes about on a daily basis for his tabloid. From zombies, to aliens, to succubi, to vampires, it seems that he has completely surrounded himself with the monsters that he writes about and doesn't even realize it...at least not yet.

I figure I'll play the random tabloid guy, assuming that I ever do anything with this. I'm really just testing the waters to see if anyone would be interested in something like this though.

Cool Idea. I would love to play a succubus or vampire in your apartment. If you would like to see some of my writings, I actually had another lit id Mystical Avalon. You can check my posts there if you want.

I would like to write along if you create such a thread. I like the idea. Its always fun to play those characters.

I mainly just don't think there is nearly enough humor in most of these SRPs and I know it would be funny to watch a building filled with non-violent monsters try to hide that they are monsters from a clueless tabloid reporter, who even if he realized they were monsters, wouldn't be able to sell his paper on the story.

Hmmmm... this one is certainly a cool story. Who knows... I might even join if I can muster the willpower.
