question.

for the last two or three weeks i will occasionally find that my cheeks are very red. like windburn but not. i've been working inside for the last month or so. i looked up the symptoms of high blood pressure and that's not one of them. and i just had it checked and it's fine. there doesn't seem to be any coralation between the occurances and the intake of any particular food or beverage. it's not happening at the same time of day or after any strenuous activity. it just happens and lasts 5-10 minutes and disappears. there are no other symptoms to go along with the flush except the skin where red does feel a little dry and tender.

anyone have any idea what might be causing this?

This is a genetic trait of fair skinned Anglo-Saxons... Although if this is a sudden development you got me...

i'm not all that fair of skin. anglo yes but dark hair and usually dark tanned.

I say get it checked out. It could be that you've developed sensitive skin. try hypo-allergenic moisturizers and baby soap

come to think of it i did change bath soaps at about the same time but it seems that it would effect other sensitive parts of the body. not just my cheeks. hmnn, that's worth looking into. thanks.
