Anyone read the book or watch all 3 parts of the mini-series on ABC? I caught bits and pieces of it over the 3 nights and am kinda confused on what happened. So anyone see it?

I just saw a small portion of it on tv.
I thought it looked horrible, but then again, I have high expectations of S.K.'s work.

just went off

and i loved it, but then again i love strange and scary things...... would like to visit the house .... not sure what was true and what was fiction.. but a good movie ...just for fun..... am planing on reading the book though... there always better...

If there is a house like that...I'd want to go to it. I have a thing about ghosts and haunted houses. :)

rose red is a real house, there was a show on the other night about it....and 23 people have die or are missing ..... but only caught the last 15 minutes or so... hope it comes back on

Sweetness...well not really sweet but hella cool to me...i wanna check it out.

On a side note...in my old elementary school (my grandma teaches there still) there is a ghost. I kid you not...I'm good friends with the nite janitor there and he's seen some weird crap. I've never seen anything tho. :(

Watching the last segment right now :)

Rose Red was filmed in Thornewood Castle in Tacoma, Washington. It's now a bed & breakfast, although it's also a private residence and not open to "foot traffic" because it's within a gated area. You have to make reservations to visit.

I posted a link to some interesting "Rose Red" sites in another thread about the miniseries, including one to the Thornewood Castle page and one to the "university" that sponsored the research :) :)

Let me know if you want the spoiler :) Let's just say that Stephen King had fun with this one.

I read the book and watched the show. The book is just the backstory about the Rimbauers. It's set up like Ellen's Diary and I personally liked it better then the movie. Some of the stuff that was in the book is also the stuff the Joyce described during her tour.

See...thats what I don't understand. Who are the Rimbauers and how do they fit in with this bed and breafest story?
