Rose is a Rose in the newspaper comics section is a marvalous strip by Pat Brady.

She has taught me a lot about women. As her character morphs from biker chick, to child, to mom and to wife/lover.

Anybody else read this strip and enjoy Rose?

Look for it, she is definatly a charmer and I believe illustrates how we all live many lives at once.

Comments please.

Merry Thanksgiving!

I havent seen this comic,

But Happy Thanksgiving to you.

Have a good one.

Look for it, you'll love it. So simple and yet so much knowledge of body and soul.

I don't get the newspaper, but when I go to my mom's house, I always read the comics- "Rose is Rose" is one of my favorites. :)

It's so easy to fall into stero types and Rose shows we all have many sides.

lilminx, I'm generally not a wrestling fan but your little woman/man match is so neat... think the Rose would like it when she isn't in public paper.

Merry Thanksgiving.

Well, Uh, I wouldn't exactly call it wrestling, per se.... but thanks anyway. I think Rose would like it too. Thanks for the Thanksgiving wishes, and I hope you have a happy THanksgiving as well. :)

During my senior year of High School, I had a class where most of the work could be finished in the first twenty minutes of a fourty-five minute class. So I'd often pass the time by reading the comics in the newspapers the teach had for another class.

"Rose is Rose" was one of the comic strips that I always made sure to read first. It was very different from the other comics being published in the paper at the time. Haven't read it for awhile, but it was a nice read back when I made time for reading it.

And Happy Thanksgiving to you too.
