Rope Bondage

What are your favorite bondage ties, favorite type of rope, scenes, kinky stories and words of wisdom?

I for one don't care for rope. Leather is where it's at for me, and my Baby Girl likes leather too. We've made a habit of picking up leather belts in our travels and we enjoy using them, sometimes with modifications, since I enjoy leather working.
My favorite position for her is on her knees. Calves secured to her thighs and wrists bound to her ankles.

My favorite ties are body and breast harnesses. I'm also a fan of futomomo ties. My favorite rope? I haven't tried a lot of different kinds, yet. I would like to try more natural fiber ropes like jute or hemp. Right now I have nylon (it's ok, but it's slippery and leaves much to be desired) and cotton which is soft and doesn't slip as much but has no strength.

Words of wisdom? Be safe. Seriously, learn about the ties and placement and be aware that anyone that offers to tie you up may not actually know what the hell they're doing.

I have a great mentor for rope bondage and he loves hemp rope. He does a lot of suspensions with it. He says it works great and reccomended that I buy hemp rope for my first rope. I'm excited to get into rope bondage. I've tied my legs/ankles during masterbation and loved the security bondage brought me. light bondage like that helps me with aftercare post scene.
