Thank you for the story - it was close but not the one I was looking for. The story I'm looking for had a pledge paired with a girl - they faced a lot of challenges while isolated in a room ... The pledge's sister was in the girls sorority and (I think) was the boyfriend of his frat brother. The couple endured a week-long hell week - physical and sexual - and at the end were inducted together. You get the impression that the experience built a long- lasting romantic relationship. I think the girl's name was Mary but I can't be certain.
I've been trying for two weeks and have tried every search trick recommended. I realize it's a long shot but again - thank you for your help.
