The story I'm writing is a prequel to the first two stories I have on my lit page, but this one has a different formula than present tense. Its written in a series of journal entries and I know how my characters are going to end up together, but cannot for the life of me think on events on how the male starts falling for the female. Like can anyone think of something cute but nonsexual?

Other notes: this is a co-ed story. Female is a virgin (loses her virginity in one of the two stories written), guy is experienced. Female is a new student while the guy has beenn at this school for about three or four semesters.

Hmm. When someone thinks of how to finish off your story, will they get coauthor status?

Let's see, let's see. They're in the same class, she mentions that she's got a terrific blueberry crumble recipe, and bang, he's in love.

No, no. They ride the same campus bus every morning, and he keeps staring at her, because despite her glasses and unstylish clothing, there's something hot about her--he can't put his finger on what (maybe the ring in her septum). He can't think how to introduce himself, but one day he stumbles getting off the bus and crashes into her, knocking her down. Very apologetic, insists on making amends, takes her for coffee . . .

Wait, wait. It's exam period, early May. They're passing on the sidewalk when she drops her books. She stoops to pick them up, and he catches a glimpse of her left nipple, because she's wearing a tank top, you see. Just a tenth of a second, but it's enough to do him in. He helps her pick up the books and they discover they're both majoring in ancient Tibetan linguistics. They go to dinner together, and the rest is history.

No, they're in the same dance class. He's very hot, but he's totally got to be gay, right, or why would he be in a dance class? So when they chat she finds herself opening up to him as she'd never do with a heterosexual guy, and she's giving him these amazing wet dreams at night . . .
