I have this romance story idea. Its about a husband and wife the, the wife is a U.S. Army nurse who is given a special assignment in Germany and the husband who is disabled must stay home and take care of the house while his wife is away. Aside from this fragment of an idea i can not write out the entire story so if anyone here would like to use my idea and write the story please write it.

Done in a series of letters

This could be a real heartfelt story. It sure has potential. I'm busy writing a series of stories right now and can't spare the time, otherwise I would love to try this.

It could be done with a series of letters back and forth. Maybe she even finds herself having feelings for someone else while over seas. She doesn't tell him but he can read between the lines and gets worried he may be losing her. He does not confront her but instead keeps writing about his love for her. As she explores her own feelings for both guys, she realizes that it is the man she left behind that is the only man she wants to spend the rest of her life with.

The end of the story is, of course, their reunion when she comes home.

I wish I had the time. I hope someone takes you up on your offer here and does a good job with this.

For a story fragment, it is unusually refined in it's details. Why Germany, specifically, if you don't mind me asking?

if it were me I would write in letter style... you know... your typical romantic love letters... about how much they miss each other... remissness about the special times they had and what they look forward to in the future... I'd go soft core warm and fluffy with this one but that's just me

I gave this story a shot

I really liked this idea from Wheelchairman. I thought I would give it a try. I posted the story last night and figure it should post Friday or Saturday.

The name is, "Welcome Home." It will be in the Romance category, a change for me, but I hope to get a good readership and, hopefully, good scores and feedback.

I see this story will post tonight

Once again I would like to thank Wheechairman for the inspiration for this story. It is a little different than my usual in that, there is no cheating wife.

However, I have tried to write in all the emotions and feelings that I like to put into my stories.
This will be in the, "Romance," category this time, a new category for me so I hope I don't lose too many readers.

I will post the link as soon as it hits and I hope to get back lots of feedback.
