How many in here is actually able to do this task??
As in rolling the old fashioned way, without a machine??

I can :)

Can you??

I can roll a joint... does that count?

I used to love watching my grandpa roll cigarettes... he'd roll 'em one handed... leaning against the mantle... lookin like he stepped out of a western... very cool to me

yeah it does count, same technique.
I have never been able to do it one handed though.

Yeah, except for the fact that he kept bitching at me about the 'flat smoke' phenomenon ... ;)

Well it a perfectly normal part of the art of rolling smokes, ahem.

Ditto but I would never roll my own cigarettes, I just don't have the patience. I practically shred the pack to get to the pre-rolled cigarette as is.

God only knows where I'd be if I then had to put it together.

:D

the giggy IS supposed to be thicker than the rolling paper ya know *looking innocent*

Jackass!

And Mellie, when all you have to smoke is a pouch of tobacco and rolling papers, you find the patience, or you get no nicotine.

But I like the pre-rolled better, but alas, I'm poor.:(

Actually, if you smoke, and dont have a lot of money you can save greatly by getting the patience and roll'em yourself.
I mean there is a significant difference between 4 bucks a pack
and 1,09 for a weeks supply

Yes I can
(Don't ask)

Kitty bad bad bad... chuck those things girl.

here this will help, without the filter you can get lip cancer... and seeing someone that has had their lips removed from that... not a pretty site.
Hope I helped :D

Are you forced to roll smokes? I rather like TMs

Yes I roll my own cigarettes and have been doing so for a few years now. I do it without a machine and use a filter in them.

I tend to sit and preroll a days worth while I watch the evening news each night. I have a silver tin that I carry the rolled ones around in.

It is quite comman to roll your own in New Zealand. It's heaps cheaper tobacco/cigarettes here compared to the USA.

I can't stand the taste of tailor made ones now.

Rollies

I'm Draco and I'm a roll-your-own smoker too. Like TH, I roll them with a filter. Can do it on the phone, while driving, just about anywhere, altho I cant do it one handed. My Dad taught me many years ago.

My rolling skills are pretty good, through a couple of years of heavy bunning of the reefer (stopped now - still smoke rollies). But they are nothing compared with my friend Mew who claims to have rolled in high wind and rain while running away from the police.

LOL, somehow I don't think I'll try that one :)

I used to be able to roll a joint with one hand while driving, but that was a few years ago.

and now i don't roll anything, but i am sure i could still get one rolled if i had too...;)

If you can roll a joint can't you roll a cigarette? I have never tried to roll a cig but I have rolled plenty of joints...isn't it just bigger? I wouldn't think it would be that difficult. :)

The green I tend to roll is more chunky and stiffer and not as refined as the tabacco, so it is slighty hard but not much :)

No I'm not forced to roll, but I rather like it, and I smoke a hell of a lot less rolling than I do with the usual ones. And I gotta admit I kinda wince at the thought of paying 3 bucks more for something, when I love the 1.09 ones just as well :)
