I don't feel like typing the whole list so you guys can look it up like big boys and girls.

I'll let you know how much of the list I agree with once I finish reading the issue.

Their top 10

Hendrix
Clapton
Page
Keith Richards
Jeff beck
BB king
Chuck berry
Van Halen
Duane Allman
Pete Townshend

My top 10

SRV
Hendrix
BB King
Albert King
David Gilmour
Chuck Berry
Neil Young
Billy Gibbons
John Lennon
Tony Iommi

Rolling Stone goes for safe picks, and seems to want to make sure they are all well known to the readership.

looks like the same list they've been publishing for the last 30 years.

Pretty much. This is actually the first issue I've got, and only because of the cover

looks like the same list they've been publishing for the last 30 years.

pretty much, though they've included newer guys like jack white, Gary Clark Jr, Tom Morello, dimebag Darrel, etc

There's no Buckethead on that list.

I call bullshit.

I met a guy called Buckethead once in Savannah on St. Patrick's Day. I don't think that was his real name, but he did indeed have a bucket on his head.

Good times.

Buckethead's real name isn't Buckethead, so it could have been him.

[TQUOTE=islandman;42199125]I'll take Lori's time too.[/QUOTE]

My time.

Give it back to me.

Sorry no refunds.

If its any consolation, I think jimmie vaughan should have made the list and he didn't.

I don't think kirk hammet or Dave mustane did either yet James hetfield did

"Like" :)

It is at its roots a pretty subjective call. How exactly do you seperate the guitar player from the songs, the band (s) or the era? Rolling Stone solves the problem by going high profile.
