I'm not sure on the protocol of this forum; so I may as well introduce myself, and my criteria for fellow gamers.
I am a writer. In the real world, I have three published children's books and a contract for a novel. Online, I write slash (m/m), het and gen. I have role played extensively within different communities, and spend no less than two hours online per day, excepting weekends. I really enjoy roleplay, but have a few pet hates: bad grammar, weak characterisation and Mary Sues.
Which leads me to my second point:
If the idea of roleplaying deluxe (tight plot, good writing, well paced action, accurate grammar) interests you and you would like to be involved, please
email me with a 500 word or so composition. Either an example of past roleplay posts, writing, or a thoughts about the history and personality of an imaginary character. Call it an audition
This may seem presumptuous, given that this is my first post to the community, but I'm so tired of roleplaying with people who can't spell and don't care, who switch perspective or point of view unknowingly, or who create Mary Sues.
God! I sound up myself, don't I! *muses* Sorry about that. But I wanted to make myself clear, and I am sure there are others out there that feel similarly.
So, email me - I promise to reply with all the exciting goodies I have in mind!
