I know what you mean in a sense. I was talking to a woman about meeting and I wondered if she was serious. Other times, people like to role play and live out the fantasies in their minds. It helps suppress urges or release tensions, etc.

I think that it is a little bit of both. It is role playing cause you get to act it out in a role. Being in a role though gives the person a sense of security becuase it is only a fantasy it is not really happening.
But I also think that it is something that you would like to happen so that you can really have the experience.
Then again I guess it depends on what the role-playing would be too. Man am I rambling or what?

I think it has a little bit of both, because alot of people who are shy like me want to try so many things but are to shy to try them in real life.
