I posted this idea tentatively on the "Interrogation" thread, but I figured that since it's a rather selective-interest topic, I might not be getting the response I would by starting a new thread.
Has anyone heard of any groups or communities that do group role-playing, where there is a general theme and main characters, but more people as "extras" that just contribute to the scenary and mood? I think this is a tremendously neat idea. Like I said in the post, you get to satisfy your original craving for 18th century costumes and speech, and at the same time get that dirty sort of thrill from being an exhibitionist. Or you could do a scene that leads to a dungeon, but you'd actually have exposition of the crime, trial, and imprisonment(which would be difficult with only two characters). Or maybe a slave market, with other slaves available, and only the buyers know who will be the other main characters. Or....
I'm getting excited thinking about this. Anybody hear of anything like this going on, or is anybody else interested?
