Even though I play Everquest and I am in a few threads here at Lit in the Online Role Playing forum, it's not enough. I need more stimulation HELP ME PLEASE! :p

PM me the links to whatever roleplaying sites you may play at or have visited once or twice. :)

Thank you :)

get Neverwinter Nights.

it's online 3rd Ed. DnD. crazy mad fun.

I'm not wanting a 'game' I'm wanting a online community....

Go play Asheron's Call...I've played that game for 2 1/2 years so far...love it.

mud connector

This place can hook you up with tons of rp communities. Very very cool. I belong to a couple of the furry communities. Like Tapestries, which is an adult community. I used to belong to a Chrono Trigger area but it vanished.

Neverwinter is an online community AND a role playing game. Go there and join a Guild. I belong to SOM (Servants of Mystery). We have a mailing list that is very active.

I hate MUDs. Real-time roleplay sucks. People don't even think about what they're typing. Don't give it time to percolate, don't spend the time to think about what their character will say or do next. And every MUD I've ever tried was filled with a tiny clique of petty little loons who just sit in chat and make OOC small talk all day long...

And those cryptic command line interfaces, what is that? I want to roleplay, not learn Unix or some completely complex bizzare-land user interface with no real world value. To each their own I guess.

Try instead:

http://www.skotos.net -- It's a MUD, but it goes against everything I said above. Because it's moderated and professional. Free trial.

Yahoo and MSN have message-based, bbs-style rpgs that are free too. It takes some time to look around and find them but they're there.

VBulletin-powered fantasy RPG world played in forums and threads. Free, and kicks the ass of the "Online Rolelaying Forums - Play in a Medieval Magical fantasy land!" thing on this site (Christ, who wrote that horrible tagline?). But it's PG-13.

http://www.literotica.com/forum/sexual rolelplaying but I gather you you probably have heard of that one : )
