well,
she would obviously be failing the class, then she would need to come in and discuss why her grade was bad or perhaps doign a little extra credit. then I would say, well I am busy right now but if you came back after hours to my office or took some tutoring, we can discuss it more of work to bring up your grades. But it would mean lots of hard work and extra long hours.
