Role play suggestions

I am not sure if this is the right place for this post so if it isn't just have a moderator move it.

I would like to find a site or something that would give me some role play suggestions including "backgrounds" for the characters in the role play.

you can be a lil bit searchive and find web sites on animes/videogames/or movies/shows what ever an dfind some sort of back ground story and character ideas as well as plot lines

Backgrounds for what kind of roleplay? There are campaign books to help GMs create roleplays, books to help authors create good characters, books about personality types of real people...

Here is the situation. My wife and I like to role play but I am getting worn out on coming up with ideas and my wife is not very pro-active about it. I would like to find some role play ideas where wife (or I) could just take them and have a personality to fill in. Kinda like a mission impossible type thing where it gives you a little history and the type of personality you are. ie. You are a executive that is on vacation... so on and so forth.

Has anyone ever found a site like this? If not, would some of you fablous authors be willing to come up with some? I am sure there are a lot of people that might benefit from something like this.

Personally, I would suggest reading some of the threads and stories on the site and adapting your offline roleplay to ones that the two of you find exciting. I don't know if you'll find something tailor-made online aside from stories though I know there are books available that have suggestions like this for couples.

I suggest you try using your imagination.. your brain should have alot of ideas

You could look at one of those websites which has adult costumes, those suggest a lot of roles: servants, warriors, royalty, villains, heros, a vampire or werewolf, a bunny- or cat-person, teacher and student, football star and cheerleader, knight and damsel, or maybe dragon...
