Oh, I'm sure that Roe Stone said, “greatest single mistake in American history.” But those are the only words in quotes. It could be about anything. We're taking the author's word it's about Trump, and his presidency, but there's no supporting quote that would indicate that.

Plus the Daily Beast is a perennial lying rag.

Trump has as good a case of being the Antichrist as anybody "Lying, dishonest, immoral, cloaked in an aura of light (Celebrity) with his followers wearing his mark (MAGA hats) of course, it's equally possible that he's a low-grade moron and grifter propelled to an undeserved level via both the Peter principle and a raft of smarter men and disingenuous grifters using him for their own ends. -- I'm comfortable with either interpretation
 
after stone was refused a second pardon by trump following jan 6th:

In the video, Stone is seen speaking on the phone, saying “f— you” and “f— you and your abortionist b—- daughter,” in anger at Trump’s refusal to grant Stone a second pardon.

Stone also insulted Ivanka Trump’s husband and fellow former Trump advisor Jared Kushner, stating that he “has an IQ of 70.”

The video was posted by Danish filmmaker Christoffer Guldbrandsen after footage from his documentary “A Storm Foretold” was subpoenaed by the House committee investigating the Jan. 6, 2021 attack on the Capitol.
Guldbrandsen previously said that “being with Roger Stone and people around him for nearly three years, we realized what we saw after the 2020 election and Jan. 6 was not the culmination but the beginning of an antidemocratic movement in the United States.”
