be prepared to see a whole cesspit of these attempts to roll back education, health, women's rights, racial & equalities and more
Greg Abbott said Wednesday that Texas would consider challenging a 1982 U.S. Supreme Court decision requiring states to offer free public education to all children, including those of undocumented immigrants.
"Texas already long ago sued the federal government about having to incur the costs of the education program, in a case called Plyler versus Doe," Abbott said, speaking during an appearance on the Joe Pags show, a conservative radio talk show. "And the Supreme Court ruled against us on the issue. ... I think we will resurrect that case and challenge this issue again, because the expenses are extraordinary and the times are different than when Plyler versus Doe was issued many decades ago."

That ain't all they're coming for sister.....

Ted Cruz helped defend Texas ban against sale of sex toys in 2007

As solicitor general, Cruz’s office had argued in case that using sex toys was akin to ‘hiring a prostitute’ and masturbation was not covered by the right to privacy.

...when he was solicitor general of the state of Texas, Cruz took a slightly more expansive view of the appropriate role of the federal government, when he participated in a federal court case in an effort to maintain Texas’s ban on the sale of sex toys.

The state – and Cruz – further argued that the sale of sex toys in the state of Texas was not an interference with the right to privacy for one’s sexual activity as established by the US supreme court in Lawrence v Texas, which threw out state bans on consensual same-sex acts of physical intimacy.

Summary of Literotica predictions for the post-Roe world:

The prisons will be spilling over with women doing time for having abortions, police departments will have special units to enforce sodomy laws, condoms and birth control pills will be outlawed, gay marriages will be ripped apart, and LGBT children will not be allowed in classrooms. And that’s just what will happen in California. Texas will be wild.

On the plus side, coat hanger manufacturing will return to US shores to meet surging demand.

And the Lit Trumplitards will never be smart, clever, or funny.

The fucked up thing is, this would make you HAPPY if all this happened.
Because that is protecting "Freedom" or something, right?
Geez, I bet you think Afghanistan is the freest country in the world, right?

I don't think the prisons will be spilling over with women. I think we will see a uptick in easily avoidable deaths of women. I imagine the ones who DO get caught juries, especially if educated on Jury Nulification, won't put too many away. Honestly the American people could legalize a lot of stuff if we used Jury Nulification.

Police will likely have traps, there are only SO many places out of most states so just replace speed traps with "why are you out here at this time of night?"

LGBT suicide rates will shoot up and they aren't great now.

Seriously not funny but I cleaned it up into a more realistic scenario for ya. I'd be mildly curious about porn to the extent they can do shit about it with the internet.

The summary of predictions are not intended to be smart, clever, or funny. Just accurate. Everything in the summary I posted has been predicted. And you’re right, the predictions are not smart.

Those are extremely grim predictions you‘re making. Unrealistic and over the top in my opinion but we’ll find out soon enough. The official decision comes down in less than 60 days and most states have already made preparations. My state (CA) has declared itself an abortion sanctuary state and has already begun subsidizing an abortion tourism industry. Planned Parenthood is receiving millions in direct funding from the government to expand factory capacity to serve the influx of out of state customers.

Since abortion is legal in the state, there is no such thing as a sanctuary state. There is no need to cooperate with federal officials for any prosecution, which is the whole reasoning behind the term "sanctuary".

Call it whatever you want. “Abortion sanctuary state” is the term CA Governor Newsom and state legislators are using and what the media is using to report on the state’s initiative to attract customers from other states.

It's not. Abortions are legal in every state, even after the ruling. Sanctuary status doesn't apply

Fine. I’m not arguing with you. It is the term coined by state leaders and the media to describe what the state government is doing. You’re free to correct them.

It's spin. Not here to correct them, but certainly to clarify. Marijuana legal states are sanctuary states.

Why, we can check history and we know women get back alley abortions or drug induced abortions both of which can be fatal. Why is it grim when is looking at history.

Our state has declared itself a sanctuary state but what does that mean in real terms? Let's say just to keep it simple that Nevada outlawed abortion. I forget what the last city between LA and Vegas is just I know there ain't shit there but a diner and gas station. There is no reason a woman would ever go from Vegas to Bumfuck and return the same day. So they can bust you the second you get home for the same reason I can't fly a 16 year old to South Carolina or Dakota where they would be legal. We can only protect them for as long as people remain within our borders. Its basically nonextradition. We'll see how it plays out in real terms but there is no reason to believe it won't With all the cray cray we've seen I don't have a reason for faith on this. Ted Cruz wanted to ban sex toys FFS. It didn't go anywhere but still.

How long before the states sue the feds on that. While I'm not big on the Constitution as the final arbiter on anything. However since abortion isn't in the Constitutiion is there any logical reason to think this couldn't be challenged under the 10th? Especially with the current makeup of the court?

You are very misinformed. Abortion rights have been protected in purple state Nevada for over 30 years and most political watchers in the state expect it to become a destination hub like CA for abortion seekers from other states. Heck, in CA they’re already gathering funding to cover travel expenses for out of state abortion seekers.

That said, I’m not interested in discouraging you from fearing roadside abortion check points, Ted Cruz banning sex toys, or any of your other bat shit crazy predictions. You are free to fear.

New Jersey will pay for abortions of all comers.

Gods I hate people with your mentality. I don't give a shit what the law in Nevada was. I simply used it because it was within driving distance. I swear I'm gonna start using Narnia and Neverland but then you'd start telling me how the One Ring would prevent them from getting caught and how there are no active volcanos in the continental United States.

Good idea. Using imaginary states is your best bet since reality doesn’t line up with your wild-eyed projections.

It lines up perfectly. Its just you're such a joke. You dodged the question because Nevada law. Either you're too stupid to properly understand the question or you're smart enough to realize I'm correct. There is no inbetween.

I answered your question directly, and used the example you cited to illustrate. You seem to think women won’t be willing or able to travel to neighboring states for abortions. Surely some won’t, but those who want to can, do, and will continue to travel to get abortions. How many women in Texas have been arrested for getting out of state abortions since their law passed last year?

No you didn't. My question was what happens if you go from an abortion ban location now known as Narnia so i don't have look up every states laws. Then you return to your home state. If I'm not allowed to drive a woman from Narnia to Neverland where all the girls are 16 and legal we know that's really the core of Epstien island right? That you can't go somewhere they are legal. If its illegal where you live its illegal no matter where you are standing.

Though obviously there are exceptions gambling. I'm sure nobody is checking how young you were drinking on your European Vacation.

Abbott is doing this to stop the Brownies from crossing the border. This can actually work...because who wants to bring their kids here if they can't go to school? No workers coming across the border only punishes those that hire them. Win win. Go for it Greg

Abbot already solved the border problems by bus ride. Nothing else needs to be done

We should never have decided to provide free education to illegal aliens. There should be zero benefit to any alien who crosses our borders illegally.
If you go back far enough, nearly all Americans are at least partially descended from illegal immigrants. Of course, it wouldn't surprise me in the least if you'd be happy to do away with public education entirely.
