actually, the reality is that most people don't like either term. which is why I keep saying Politically Correct is bullshit. First of all, American is not an ethnicity. It's a nationality. You have to be born in the US or its territories. So all these stupid groupings we get from politically correct are just attempts to make people seem farther and farther apart. No, "native americans" as you put it prefer to be referred to by their tribal designation.
