When it has decision making programming based on sensor feedback. A robot is essentially a tool that performs an automated task without the need for human guidance (past creation/programming). What makes a robot different from a simple machine is that a robot can be more easily re-purposed, assigned another task.

Now, I have to admit, apart from his lack of wisdom in trying to do this in a public place, I do feel this kid's pain. Robots aside, I'd always felt there was room for at least one mannequin sex story; perhaps even a version of this told as fiction. A robot can't feel human emotion or pleasure, can't understand the complexities of linguistics, and doesn't have the seem base desire we do. Some writers choose to program these things in, but it ends up being a story about a metal human, more than it does about being a robot.

If I were to write a story on a robot for sex, I would want it to be cold and callous and mechanical. It fucks because it is programmed too. If I was writing it as a robot, I think it would be interesting to see a human brain trapped in the body of the metallic shell.

I know there's lots of stories about "fembots". But I'd prefer writing about a "male" robot pleasuring a female human. There's a lot of aspects to this scenario that turns me on:

1. The robot is unfeeling, acting only as its programming allows. Thus, the female has no control - and is "at the mercy" of the robot.
2. The robot feels no pleasure itself. It's only programmed to give pleasure. In this way it is an exploration of female sexual fantasies.
3. The robot does not get tired - or ejaculate - like a human male would. It can go on endlessly, bringing the female "victim" to unseen heights of pleasure, possibly even against her will.

I have a story about sexually stimulating technology in the works. No robot story so far - but I find the idea really hot.

Catch the Lightning by Catherine Asaro has a relevant scene. The main characters are having sex, but the hero is damaged (he's kinda cybernetic). As such, the mechanical part of him is having sex (i think the heroine mentions about it being like making love to a golem...) with the heroine while his biological side repairs and in this state, he is indeed a purely mechanical being - e.g. robot...

So yeah, robot sex is kinda like a giant dildo. What elevates it to the next level is the surrounding story, in my opinion anyway...

I've got to admit I'm a little chagrined.
1) That a story I tossed off in 20 minutes (and yes, it shows in the formatting) has gotten more views and votes in 24 hours than any of my other stories have gotten in months.
2) That this story is getting lower ratings than my other stories. The only reason I find this annoying is because my other stories are really guilty pleasures. You might be turned on by them, but the non-consensual and violent aspects of them (fairly mild, but still) are a little tough to stomach when looked at in the cold light of day.

Let me suggest a Dom, who has a robot built for training his subs. The more a girl orgasms the easier it is, as the neural pathways are used repeatedly. So he could use the bot to condition her.
