In Sunday's Washington Post, Joel Achenbach wrote a review of the book "Love and Sex with Robots." This link will take you to his blog, which contains a copy (as well as the delightful comment, "I could make a comment about Robotic Sex and my former husband, but that would be a cheap shot. Plus I'm sure the robots are superior in every way." Amen to that, honey.)

The highlight of the review, though, was this paragraph:
Merry Christmas to all my new friends on Lit!

The highlight of the review, though, was this paragraph:
Levy's book is entertaining in parts, such as the eye-opening (even climactic) section on the evolution of vibrators. "A steam-driven vibrator invented in the United States in 1869 was inconvenient for doctors to use because they repeatedly had to shovel coal into its boiler," he writes. (Who among us has not heard the command, "Keep shoveling"?)
Merry Christmas to all my new friends on Lit!
