We drove upstate last week, and about halfway to Sacramento there were a half-dozen or so Gusty Wind signs.

Roseville is a town quite close by to where we stayed upstare in CA where a guy who posts at Lit lives.

You realize of course that this will lead to a spate of new names here. People will be signing up as "Dangerous Curves", "Soft Shoulders", "Exit 69", "Yield", and "Fines Double in Construction Zones" (unless I miss my guess.)

I loved it. I love San Diego too, but the air is so goddamn fucking dry. My eyes are constantly drying out til I'm blind.


Upstate is so much more wet and green, and Mid February reminded me of late spring in NY. Davis is kinda cruddy but it's close enough to S.F. and Sac for me to not go insane. Plus we found a cool apt.
