Raining a little at the moment; but it truely depends on where you go. People tend to think of Alaska as ice, snow, eskimo, polar bear and igloo. The truth however is somewhat different. SE Alaska (where I live) is a rain forest, thus, it rains most of the time (triple digit rainfall). The interior, while it gets excessively cold in winter; gets temps in excess of 100 degrees in summer. If you like fishing, we have the best fishing in the world here. visualise reeling in a salmon 3 to 5 foot in length weighing 50 to 100 lbs. You like secluded, Alaska is 1/3 the size of the lower 48 put together (more than twice the size of Texas) with a total population of only about 750,000 people.

I saw an amusing commercial online a few months ago. It looked like a car commerial at first:
Man and woman in car making out. Things are starting to heat up. the woman slowly works her way down the mans chest to his lap. Camera stays on his face to show a look of satisfaction and pleasure which slowly changes to a look of confusion (the whole time you can see the ladies head bobbing up and down).
