Someone mentioned in the faces threads that we needed a pet thread. So here it is..

HEY! Where'd my "C" in Critters go?

Could one of you Mods please put it back?

And making a limited time engagement, a piccy of my Riley and SC. (Look quick kids, as per SC's request, this one's going to Disappear after a few hours. Kind of like ADR's pics do.)

Doncha just lurve the shades?

Yeah well, the too legged one's not mine. She's too much work anyway. ;) Wonder how much we could get for her on the block?

I won't get all buckwild and post up all my pets.. but here's my lovely Arabian mare, Shayla.

We have three dogs, with a new puppy due to come home to us in January, a cat, a parrot, a fish, and eleven horses... so I'd be most of the thread just by myself if I posted all of them. I'll toss a few more up here later.

Post 'em all Sunfox. I'd post more but the one I used is the only one on my computer where Riley isn't being rude. Nice critters, everyone!

aww! what a pretty doggie! and a really well done photo, too!

Well, I too could take over the thread with my pets, past and present. I've ALWAYS had pets, for a long as I can remember.

Dogs and cats mostly, but I've also had a chicken, Shetland pony, guinea pigs, snakes, and turtles, to mention a few.

Before 1981, I was mostly a dog owner, but since then, I've had my share of cats. In the last 20 years I've always had four cats. I'm on my second set of four.

The first four were Bud, Cleo, Jones, and Ozone. Now, the second set of four are Clause, Cosmo, LT (Laptop), and Heyou.

If I can find any, or produce any, I'll try and post some pictures. But, sometimes I'm not much of a picture taker. Suffice it to say those that have died, died old and happy. Those that are still living are healthy.

Don't get me started on talking about my pets. I could go on and on. No need to bore you all. I've bored my friends with stories until they sit there in a glassy eyed stare.

But, those pet pics that I've seen are very nice. I truly love ALL animals.

Lady Guen
Lady is a year old now. Pit, lab mix and with both temperment and power to match.
She loves long walks in the woods, pig's ears and bellyrubs. Her vices include skunts, redecorating the living room with scraps of paper and being able to distroy any regular dog toy in under an hour.
She was named after the panther from the R.A Salvatore novels in the Forgotten Realms series.

Dom(inic)
Dominic is 10-11 weeks old. Chocolab, husky mix. With a loving, gentle temperment.
He loves trying to make me fall over him, taking Lady's toys and trying to run away, and hiding in the bushes so I can't see him.
Some vices include peeing on newly folded laundry, crying at everything, and biting my ear to wake me up in the morning.
He was named Dom origionally, but figured we're an "odd" enough couple we added the 'inic' to make him an italian like me ;)

Meet Doc.

Meet my alter ego.
Doc. Holliday.
Sorry I have to tinker with the balances or you just can't see the little buggers eyes...

Funny, I keep getting told that he and I have the same personality...Dunno why.

Urr make that the next window ..doing too many things at once..*sigh*

Ok, so my cat is all but the polar opposite of EKVITKAR's colorwise. His name is Bill because of weird circumstances with the way he meowed when I first got him. He is still young and tends to be a spaz, but I love him anyway. This pic is a little fuzzy but you get the idea.

Btw, white cat + black, goth wardrobe = serious need for lint brush

That's one of my few complaints about eeyore. She always leaves her black on my white clothes and her white fur on my black ones..

This is Sophia, the only one of my 4 pets that allows her picture taken.

Your cat looks weirdly similar to mine. ;)

I'm going to move all my pics over to the new computer here shortly, and post up a big slew at once. Maybe tonight... I know I have one of Niko in there.

This is Columbus... him and his sister are staying with my parents right now, because we don't have room for them.

Okay, a couple more. ;)

This is our working herding dog, Echo, who spends most of her day with the horses.. she's from an Australian Cattle Dog (blue heeler) rescue.
