Well obviously. This "trial" is a farce and should not be happening. Its one of the most disgusting abominations I've ever seen.

The real reason the establishment is engaging in this outrageous politically motivated "trial" is to send a message that the ancient human right to self-defense that has been generally accepted by nearly everyone for thousands of years is over.

Criminals, such as rampaging rioters illegallty "protesting" in the middle of the night by engaging in wanton violence and destruction have not just more rights than decent people but have ALL the rights. Particularly if the person defending him or herself is guilty or even suspected of any "wrong" socio-political beliefs.

Its obviously not about poor young Kyle, its about sending a message to law abiding citizens not to dare even try to protect themselves from criminals.

To paraphrase a particularly notorious cable TV propagandist "this is our country now."

Agreed, but that's why we have a justice system that affords due process. It keeps overzealous prosecutors in check. The problem is that if Rittenhouse didn't have money he would probably lose.
