Well it had to happen some time: Tonight I smoked for the first time. My fiance and I went out and bought a pack of cloves thinking he would smoke one and I would enjoy the smell; but when push came to shove, I wanted to try it. I did, and it was sorta fun! No coughing or anything -- I had a good teacher. Now my lips are all sweet and my breathing is slightly acrid. And my heart is racing.

I don't plan to make a habit of it, but it was sorta neat.

Interesting: My first beer was Guinness, my first sex was rocky road, and my first cigarette was a clove.

first drink: well, I was allowed a half a glass of wine since I was 6 at family gatherings (its an italian thing) ... but when i wasn't around family, REAL first drink I think was a screwdriver or jack and coke.

Never smoked anything, and have no intention to... figure life is simpler for non-smokers, especially in mid-winter.

I've gotten used to doing it however its around, but I prefer a 'shot gun' like you mentioned when my SO and I are together at the party or what not. I'll do it occasionally, socially. Usually have to have a drink or two first. Taste for me is sensative, and i don't like what smoke makes my mouth feel like... ::shrug::
