The planet Cornelia was tucked away in a small corner of the milky way galaxy, sitting on the tip of one of the many arms of the spiral galaxy. The solar system contained four planets orbiting the main star in it's center. Cornelia was the second planet from the sun, the right distance for life to develop. Two moons orbited the planet in a cross pattern, one along the equator and the second traveling between the poles.

One billion years after the formation of the planet, it became covered by mostly water and one very large landmass. Constant shifting of the planet's plates split the land mass into four sections floating through the water. A large ice shelf also developed on the southern pole of the planet, covering nearly half of the southern hemisphere.

During the next two million years life began to form in various forms of land, water, and air creatures. The ecosystem changed rapidly, creating the need for rapid evolution among the many lifeforms on the planet. Though the evolution was slowly for the smallest of the creatures, the lizards, they soon became the most powerful and ferocious lifeforms after one million and seven hundred years. The lizards had evolved the ability to fly with wings nearly as long as their body mass. They would grow to stand nearly two stories tall at the height of their growth and grew up to six feet in length from head to tail.

After nearly three hundred thousand years of being the largest and top of the food chain, the dragons began to have a major effect on the environment. The food chain was barely able to keep up with the massive amount of resources need to sustain them. A struggle was soon being fought between the dragons and the world at large.

It was during this time of famine, as the dragons referred to it, that the only new dragon was born. His mother named him Thratux. Thratux was just over three thousand years when a disease struck, killing over half of the dragon population and rendering most of the females infertile. He took it upon himself to try and bring together the rest of the dragons, settling on the northern most landmass. Despite the attempt of bringing the dragons together, the inability to reproduce took its toll, as well as the changing environment. An ice age set in as half of the polar ice cap broke away and made it way along the planet.

As the glaciers reformed the surface of the planet, the dropping temperatures made it harder for the dragons to hunt as more animals attempted to flee the danger. Thratux ordered the dragons to find shelter for the coming ice age, believing it to only last a short while. Every dragon took shelter in any nook or crevice they could find.

As the glaciers moved along the surface, they helped push the landmasses together into two large landmasses. The sheer weight of the glaciers changed the land above and below, trapping or killing the dragons where they had taken shelter. Thartux was lucky in not being killed, but his hiding place became part of a large mountain range that ran along the equator of the planet on one of the two landmasses. The sheer pressure also helped to form a diamond rich vein along most of the mountain range.

The second landmass was smoothed out by the glacier, becoming one large fertile continent. It was soon covered completely with forest and several lakes. The glaciers settled into the northern pole, forming a second ice shelf. Multiple islands dot the vast ocean that covers the nearly terraformed planet.

Two thousand years after the ice age, a new series of life cycles take over the planet.

Standing at the highest point of the land that she ruled, Queen Rahora looked out over her land as the sun started to rise over the land. She was the queen of this land, following in the generations of her family. Looking to the north she looked over her village, the main village of this island boarded on one side by the cliffs and the other side by the forest. Looking over the land she saw smoke rising from the smaller villages spread over the island, turning she then looked out over the cliff and the water towards the north to where there was nothing but ice islands made of ice, or so here people had reported when they had journeyed there, coming back with stories of white barren landscapes that seemed to go on forever. Few of her people were allowed to venture there and only those strong of will and of strength for in early journeys few came back.

As the sun light bathed the forest she turned and headed back to the village. Walking amongst the wood made homes she greeted those that were early risers like herself. Entering her own house which was bigger than many of the others she proceeded to change from the light woven wrap she wore over herself to the thicker wrap that she wove around her breasts and the one that wove around her hips leaving room for her tail, her clothes where the same as her peoples though had been dyed a dark red colour to represent her position as queen. There was also the band she wore around her neck, rope with a jewel blood red jewel that had been found in the mines of the island and was given to family as a present by the minors.

Running a brush through her hair and between the horns that sounded her head she listened to the activity that were going on around her as the village started to awake. How peaceful it sounded she thought, how happy she was that she was queen during a time of peace and not a time of war as her mother had been. Her mother had taught her to be a strong queen as other from other islands had sort to take the title from her. The previous queen had met every threat and had stopped any further threats from stepping forward by taking control of those islands before she did, leaving Rahora the queen of the big island and quite a few of the smaller ones. The others that were further out choice to trade but not be ruled by this islands queen and Rahora agreed to let them be, they meant her and her people no harm.

Stepping from her house she headed towards the shrine to thank the forest and land spirits for all that it has given them before she would start her queenly duties for the day. As she stepped into the sun light she couldn't help but look back along the path to the cliff and wonder why she suddenly had a feeling things were going to change soon.

((An idea of what my character looks like))

The first thing that woke Thratux was the massive growling in his stomach, especially since his last meal had been over two millennium ago. Large gold eyes opened slowly, taking in the total darkness of the cave he had taken refuge in. He couldn't be certain, but the cave seemed to have gotten bigger while he was asleep. He growled softly as he slowly lifted himself from his curled up position, slowly stretching out as much as he could. Easily seeing in the deep darkness, Thartux made his way to where he thought the opening was. However he found a rather large boulder in the way. Growling, he rushed forward, bashing into the boulder with his shoulder. Though he was weak from hunger, he was able to budge the rock a bit. A few tries and the boulder was bouncing away down the icy mountainside.

Though he didn't know it, the icy wind that greeted him was Thratux's taste of the new world. He quickly made his way out and up to the highest peak he could find. He took a moment to inhale the strange air, snorting at the strange mixture of tastes in his nostrils and mouth. Nothing was familiar at all. How long had he been asleep? Inhaling deeply, he let out a roar, loud enough to be heard for miles in every direction, calling for other dragons to come out. He fell silent, waiting for any answering calls. The only sounds he heard was the growling of his stomach, telling him to find food.

Growling for a moment, he lowered his eyes from the sky to the mountainside below him. He easily picked out group of five hairy looked four-legged creatures moved along one of the rugged trails several miles below him. With a roar of hunger, he leaped in the air, diving towards the group. As if sensing their impeding danger, the creatures started bleating like crazy, running and falling along the mountainside. He easily caught two, one in each front talons before flying back up towards the mountaintop. Ripping one of the creature's heads off, he chewed and swallowed it whole. Those two were followed by the other three creatures that had gotten away.

Satisfied at his first meal in a very long time, he curled up on the mountaintop to sleep his meal off. After a few hours, he was up once more, launching himself into the sky. The large red dragon flew over the new landscape, plans forming to rule the skies once more.

The men that were currently exploring the ice island jumped as they heard a sound they had never heard before. It sounded loud and very large. Looking around the men could not see what could have caused such a sound and they admitted that they really didn't want to find out what could have made it. They all looked towards the mountains and guessed that that was where the sound had come from. Waiting with baited breath to see if another roar but nothing issued forth. Taking a breath they considered there options and decided that some of them would remain and see if they could find out more about where the sound had come from while the others would return to their island and report this to the queen. As they split up and the three who set back off with their boats pushed off they looked back at the island of ice and saw something moving through the air above the mountains, flying like a bird but from this distance they knew that it was no bird.

Back on the island Rahora lifted her head and thought she heard something on the wind as a cold wisp threaded its way through the trees. Listening hard she wondered if she was hearing things and when she heard nothing more she shook her head. "Are you all right my queen," one of the men besides her ask, for she had stopped as they were inspecting the stores of food they had for the feast tonight. Focusing back on her companion she smiled and shook her head. "I am fine, let us continue," she told him, he looked back over her again before continuing to explain the plans that were in place for the feast. The many villages were sending representatives to the feast tonight to make offers to the throne and to bring any issues or news that they might have to discuss with the other villages. This was done once every time the two moons were full and tonight was one of those nights. "Everything seems to be in place and ready. Thank you for your work Haydon," she touched his shoulder and headed away, setting out on her next task.

Though in the back of her mind she couldn't help but wonder about the sound she had heard on the wind before, and how it didn't settle well with the worry that something might go wrong with tonight's feast.

The land was an alien landscape for Thratux. Gone were the rolling green fields of grass, the skies full of his own kind, all replaced by the strangeness he flew over. In place of what he knew was this ice and snow covered island beneath him. The cave he had hid in went from being on the ground to halfway up the gigantic mountain range. Though his flight over the island didn't take long, it still amazed him. He saw many new creatures roaming the large ice-covered that had adapted themselves to the frigid conditions. Some of the species resembled some off shoot of species he had known before he had gone to sleep.

He was about to return to the cave when a new scent caught his attention. It caught his attention because it seemed out of place among the frigidness of the island, barely registering among the rest of the creatures. The dragon inhaled the scent deeply, focusing his attention down as he hovered in the sky. It took him a few moment to pinpoint the scent, following it towards the two explorers left behind. He circled above them, watching them as they moved along and watching him as well. After a short time he dove towards them, landing with enough force to rock the ground on all fours.

He folded his wings against his back as the men scrambled back a little bit. The dragon easily towered above them, even on all fours. He lowered his head down towards them, sniffing the air deeply. He narrowed his eyes as he noticed how they had draconian features despite having no wings and walking on two legs. The two men began talking animatedly between themselves, pointing at him. He didn't understand the strange noises coming from them, growling low at them. He continued to look down at them for several more moments before more of their unique scent caught his attention, heading towards the coast.

With a snort and growl, he leaped into the air once more, trailing after the scent towards the coast.

The two men stood there trembling as they saw the beast take to the air heading towards were there companions had headed. They did not know what this beast was, but the way it had looked at them they thought that whatever it was there was intelligence there not just some wild beast. Unable to move they hoped that their companions would be safe and that the creature would leave them as it had them.

The three men in the boat escaped as quickly as they could, hoping to get there the news to their people as soon as they could. They would take turns rowing when the wind turned but for the moment the wind favoured them and their progress was quick. Though one of them kept their eyes looking back and saw the creature flying towards them he called out to the others.

Rahora was greeting one of the representatives that had turned up early for the feast as he was visiting his daughter that had choose to remain in Rahora's village when she met and fell in love with one of the young men that . Stepping back she watched the father and daughter embrace. They started discussing how their travel had gone, when there can a shouting from the cliff path. Everyone looked up and saw one of the young men running down the path towards her group. "Rahora, Rahora," he shouted. Breaking away from the group she hurried towards him. The boy wasn't making sense and was pointing backwards along the path when he reached her. Trying to calm him she told him to take it slow and breath.

Finally he managed to get the words out, "Flying...... There is something in the air......... over the water." Rahora looked towards the path and then back at the boy who was panting. Calling on one of the woman standing watching the scene unfold she handed over the boy to the woman, before she headed for the path, with many following her. Coming to the cliff she looked out over the water her eyes scanning sky above the water. Someone called out pointing to a point in the direction of the ice island and everyone's attention was drawn to the spot moving through the air. Many whispers started around her, but the queen wasn't listening her attention on the spot that was quite a distance away, and she had a strange feeling. The whispers got louder as more gathered. "Enough," Rahora commanded her voice breaking through the voices, "What ever it is it is still quite a distance away. We still have the feast to prepare for and we do not know if it is coming in this direction or what it is. Now everyone back to your preparations." Looking towards there queen they slowly started to make their way back down the path. Calling over two of the hunters she requested that they stay on the cliff, watch and report what they see. Glancing once more over the water she slowly turned and headed back down the path to set an example for her people.

Thartux could have easily caught up with the men in the boat, but the newness of the new world had his attention for the time being. He snorted for a moment as he watched the boat move out of sight across the ocean, turning back towards the ice island. He had already did a flyover of the large island, finding a few things of interest. However, the strange two-legged creatures were more intriguing to him. Though he only had a brief interaction with them, they showed themselves to be a lot more interesting than the lesser creatures running around the ice island.

He wasn't quite sure of what to do at this point. Judging from the two strangers reaction, he wasn't exactly going to have the welcome mat rolled out for him. Something struck him as they could be the descendents of his race long ago, but he shook that thought aside. He needed to figure these creatures out, and the best way would probably be to blend in. He continued to hover above the island for a little longer before launching higher into the atmosphere above the clouds.

No matter what approach he took, he was most likely to going to spook the new creatures. Using the clouds as cover, he flew towards the source of the scent of the strangers who had gotten away by boat. Hovering above the bay, he went through his various options. Going in as a dragon would most likely spark an attack, so that was out. The only other option he could think of was to look like them, but it wouldn't be perfect.

He had never used his magic for shape-shifting in the past, since the reason never came up. Night had fallen, so the light of his magic began a light show among the clouds. It took several minutes before he was fully satisfied with the results. He was close to what they looked like, but not completely. His stature was seven feet tall, a foot taller than the strangers had been. The form felt unwieldy for the time being, even the act of flapping his wings to fly was strange for the moment. Once the transformation was finished he fell from the clouds towards the bay. Curling himself into a large ball, wrapped by his wings and tail, he splashed into the harbor creating large waves.

The men were watching the creature as they sailed through the water and to their relief they saw that it was not catching on them and then that it turned and headed back towards the ice island. All the men could do now was keep an eye on the sky and the island that was slowly coming into view. They still had a long way to go before they would reach home, where they would have a interesting story to tell the queen and there people, that they doubted would be believed.

Driving the people to keep up there preparations going was hard as every so often Rahora would catch herself looking in the direction of the cliff. It became easier as the day slowly seemed to creep along. There was the report that whatever was in the air seemed to be going back in the direction it had come from, then that it had vanished all together. She kept the watch going as she had a feeling that this wasn't the last that they had seen of this creature. The preparations were eventual done with no more interruptions much to Rahora's relief.

Night had fallen and all the representatives had arrived safely, Rahora had excused herself from the final preparations to do her own. Replacing her daily wrap she put one of her nicer ones that was of a finer weave that was made of two parts which tied over one of her shoulders and draped across her chest above her breasts, they also tied around her waist forming a fine rope belt. When she was ready she joined the gathered representatives and led them to the clearing in which they would feast and discuss.

They had not long started to feast when the lights lit up the sky, every ones attention turning to the sky. Mumbling started, wondering what it was and did it have anything to do with what they had seen over the water before. Others thought it a blessing from the air and sky spirits for this gathering. The lights in the sky eventually ended leaving everyone excited. Many were too busy talking amongst themselves that they didn't see something streak through the sky from the clouds, Rahora did and she quickly and discreetly called over one of the hunters and asked her to check on the watchers and report back to her.

One of the watchers who stood watch over the point of the coast close to the path that led to the village, was recovering from the wave that had hit him. Shaking his head he looked out at the water wondering what had caused the wave, when one of the hunters run down the path. "What happened?" he asked when she reached her.

The waves had caused one of the tied merchant ships to break loose, floating out into the middle of the bay near where Thartux had splashed down. Hitting the bottom of the bay, he uncurled himself from the ball to stand on the bottom of the bay. Being underwater wasn't new to him, but he didn't have any experience in this humanoid form. He had a very large lung capacity, even in his current form, so holding his breathe wasn't going to bother him for a while. However, the large amount of magic needed to transform was taking it's toll on him and he needed to rest very soon.

The moonlight was bright enough for him to watch the loose merchant ship float it's way out towards him. Walking along the ocean floor he quickly closed the distance towards the boat, reaching it when it was two miles from the the shore. With a strong push from the ocean floor, he launched up through the water to the ship. His hands grasped the side of the ship, easily hauling himself aboard. His entry onto the ship was blocked by a large stack of crates along the opposite side he was getting up on.

A quick search of the ship confirmed he was alone. He also found a large white blanket which he did his best to fashion into a makeshift hooded robe with a piece of rope. His wings were wrapped around his body, but his tail was too long to keep hidden beneath the makeshift robe. The robe stopped just below his calves and the curved ends of his wings were visible as well. Grabbing a few pieces of fruit and a pitcher of wine he fount in the captain's cabin, he was out in a deep sleep on the large bed after eating.

It was just after dawn that the loose merchant ship had floated back towards the docks where it had broken from.

The feast went on with no problems, there was a lot of talk of the lights in the sky and the unknown creature. There was also the normal talk that took place at the feast, of crops and people, of small problems and big ones. There was reunions of family and friends. Rahora watched over her people and relaxed enjoying the feast. The watchers had reported to her discreetly, they had seen that something hit the water causing a large wave. Many of the boats that had been in there docks were now loose. There was not much that they could for the boats not with the light gone. She found moments to speak to the captains of each ship as the night continued. Informing them of what had happened and that come morning when there was light, she and her people would help retrieve there ships if they had drifted away.

As the main part of the feast ended Rahora spoke once more with her watches and asked if there had been any sign what had hit the water. None of them had seen anything, so Rahora had thanked them for their good work and told them to go find some food and join their family and friends. Standing on the dock she looked over the water, watching the moons reflection the only light that showed the freed ships. What had fallen from the sky and where was it now? She wondered to herself. Finally she shook herself and headed back to the feast.

Dawn came and Rahora found herself on the dock after going through her morning ritual. She had stood before the shrine longer than normal that morning, thinking back to the happening of the day before. She had prayed to the spirits for the safety of her people before coming here to help and see if any more could be discovered about the events of last night.

Some of the boats had floated back in with the tide and those that hadn't quite made it were being retrieved with smaller boats that had not been on the water when the wave had hit. The captains and there men were checking to see if there had been anything lost or damaged, when shouting came from one of the boats.

He had been sleeping nicely when the commotion of the boats being searched woke him up. He sat up for a moment on the bed, listening. There were shouts in a language he didn't really understand, but he was probably going to learn it soon. Leaving the blanket that he had gotten for a cloak, he decided to go as he was. Nudity was just natural to him.

He pushed open the down and walked out onto the deck. This was the same time that the captain of the ship was coming to check if anything was missing. The captain stopped on the dock at the sight of Thratux, speechless for a few moments. Then he cried for help. A crowd soon formed by the boat, staring at the dragon.

He was much bigger and busker than the males of the race in every aspect, even making some of the gawking females blush. Thratux just smirked a little, atanding there as the rising sun shimmered on his scales.

Rahora ran toward the growing crowd, but stopped short when she saw the figure standing before the crowd. She could only see his head as his was taller than the people crowded in front of him. Looking at him she knew he was not the same as her or her people and she had never seen any one of his kind before. Shaking herself of her shock she pulled herself together and moved forward calming, hiding her nervousness and her curiosity.

“What is going on here?” she asked the crowd only raising her voice enough so she could be heard over the talking. The crowd parted and let her through many mumbling and exclaiming, wondering what the creature was and were he had come from. Oh yes he was most defiantly a he by the look of him, Rahora thought as she looked at him as she made her way to the front if the crowd. She felt her own cheeks redden slightly before she scolded herself and thought now was not the time to focus on such things, she had her people to look after.

The captain of the boat come up and stood beside her, explaining he had been about to check his boat when the man had stepped out onto the deck. Rahora’s eyes never left the man before her, taking him in. He had a slight look of her people, but in form only. The two things that really drew attention to his difference were the wings and his skin. His skin shimmered in the sunlight, like scales on a fish, no more like on a lizard.

When the captain finally stopped speaking she turned her head to him and smiled nodding and touching his arm. He stepped back and she moved closer to the boat. “I am Rahora, queen of this land. May I ask who you are and where you come from?” Her voice coming out controlled and with a bit of authority.

He watched the crowd, amused by their reactions. It was what he expected, awe and a bit of fear of them mixed within their eyes. Even their smell let it show, even if they were unaware of such things.

When the crowd parted and a female, judging from her form, stepped forward, he figured she was someone important. He raised an eyebrow for a moment when Rahora spoke. He could tell she was trying to take command, with her stance and tone. However he didn't know what she was saying.

He waited for a moment after she seemed to stop speaking to answer in his own language. When spoke, it came out in a series of growling and hissing.

"Sorry, I don't know your sounds, but I enjoy your smell."

He grinned for a moment, moving closer to the side of the boat and standing on the rail.

There was more muttering and gasps behind her when the man started hissing and growling. Rahora had been surprised too but she quickly raised a hand and all the crowd grew silent. He had seemed to listen to her as she spoke and if she wasn’t mistaken he was responding to her. But was it to what she said or simply to that fact that she had spoken.

Rahora looked back at him as he seemed to smile at her and the crowd, this was going to be hard if they couldn’t communicate. Looking at him she knew he was intelligent, not some creature to be considered animal, not with the look in his eyes. Nor did she think that he wanted to harm her people, not at the moment at least. If he had, he would have by now.

Sighing was the only sign of frustration she gave at a loss for how they were going to communicate. Which her people did not hear or see, thinking of this she looked back at her people and decided all of them standing around staring was not going to help the situation. Turning she told them to go back to what they were doing. She knew that whatever they did they wouldn’t be focused on it but at least they weren’t just standing around.

Once quieting the arguments and the protests she watched them head back to their tasks. When only the captain and his crew were left behind, Rahora turned back to the stranger. Still at a loss she swept her hand from the boat to the dock, gesturing for him to join her on the dock if he wished. She smiled at him as she did this.

He watched how the crowd and Rahora reacted, understanding they didn't speak his language either. Something was telling him these had some ancestry to his, but what ever that was, was very small. He was going to have to learn what he could about this new race, if he was going to make his way back to the top once more.

He watched the crowd dispurse slowly, leaving only their female leader and the ship's crew. He tilted his head for a moment at Rahora's gesture, at least it was understandable. He smiled and then jumped down on the deck. She was intriguing, and one to be desired at having some power it seemed.

He made his way over to her till he was right in front of her. He leaned closer to her, taking a deep inhale of her scent before straightening up, licking his lips. He spoke once more in his language.

"Delicious."

Rahora wondered if her gesture would be understood, or if they truly would not be able to communicate. She made no movement and she didn't look at the others that still stood there. Her eyes were on the stranger only, she noticed the tilt of his head and then relief filled her when he jumped off the boat.

Her smile remained on her face as he approached her, but it turned to a look of surprise when he leaned in close and smelled her. Pulling back she tilted her own head as she watched him lick his lips and spoke. What was that supposed to mean, she thought to herself. What had the stranger smelled on her, that would make him lick his lips, she did not know if she wanted to know or how to ask if she did.

The Captain and his crew watched their queen and the stranger, the captain was happy the stranger was off his boat but he did not like the way the stranger leaned closer to the queen. Stepping forward he spoke the queen's name, drawing her attention away from the stranger. Rahora looked at the captain and told him he could carry on with his checks and to tell her if anything was amiss. Dismissed the captain directed his crew and they boarded the ship, sparing a glance at the queen and the stranger.

Turning back to the stranger she wondered what to do with him, what would she do with a normal guest she thought. With this in mind she remembered there was still food left from the feast. "Would you like something to eat?" she asked miming putting something into her mouth. Then she indicated for him to follow her and she started walking toward the village and her home. Looking back over her shoulder she looked to see if he was following her.

Hearing the captain speak for a moment, the dragon glanced towards him for a moment. Then the queen spoke and the captain backed down and returned to his boat. Thratux had almost reacted but the queen's intervention had saved him from a fight.

He raised an eyebrow for a moment when she acted like she was doing something, but he didn't get it. However he did understand the follow her gesture, glad fully following her.

As he walked after her, he thought about many things. Her smell had been pure, no scent of any possible male upon her. Well, none that he could determine from the multitude of smells that were crowding around him. For him, she was unclaimed and he wasn't about to let that go easily.

The barrier of communication was one that he decided through an ancient spell that the dragons had came up with. The transfer of knowledge through it was one way, language skills, customs, mating, etc, in favor of the dragon. He had also been thinking about how to claim her, but didn't have her race's mating habits.

He growled softly under his breathe as he recited the spell as they entered the area where the feast had been held. When they stopped, he didn't give her much of a chance to really protest his next moves.

When she turned to him, he closed the gap between them. One hand slid around the small of her back, pulling her small frame against him. She would be able to feel his hard, thick cock pressed between them from his arousal along with the warmth of his body. His other hand went to her head, thumb beneath her chin as he tilted her head upwards as his hand held her in place.

His lips pressed against hers a moment before his large tongue slipped into her sweet mouth. He growled with the pleasure he received, enjoying the entirety if her. There was a semi-roughness to his tongue as it touched hers. There was a few seconds of what seemed like static electricity pass between the contact, holding it for a few seconds.

He soon broke the contact, mmming as he released her once more. This time he spoke her language and understood it.

"Now that is a rush every time I do it. Although it has been a long time since I had to."

There was many stares as they walked to the feast area but the look on Rahora face made it clear now was not the time to talk to her. As she walked she was thinking hard of what she was going to do. If they couldn't understand each other then how was supposed to know if he was a threat to her people or why he was here. Also she wanted to know if he had anything to do with the creature they had seen in the distance.

As they walked she thought she heard something coming from the behind her but it was very soft, so she didn't think much of it. When she reached the feast area she was glad to see that no one was there, at least then she could focus on dealing with the stranger and not feel the stares of her people on her.

Turning she was taken by surprise, as she found the stranger up close and suddenly she was being embraced by him. Even as her mind tried to comprehend, the warmth of the body and the feel of his now hard maleness pressed against her, she found her face being brought to his. As his lips met her she tried to pull away but his hands held her and then she felt his tongue enter her mouth.

Her body seemed to melt against him, she had never been embraced by a male before. Never been kissed in a heart stopping way, and then there was a tingling that it seemed to produce that ran through her body. A unintentional moan slipped from her lips as her body reacted to what was being done to it. Then it was over and she opened her eyes not realising she had closed them.

She took a stumbled step back when he released her, her hand flying to her mouth. She went through a mixture of emotions at that moment as she just stared at him. Then finally anger emerged as the winner. Not caring that he couldn't understand her, "That in the name of the Spirits do you think you are doing. How dare you touch me as if you are my lover. I don't even know who or what you are!" Rahora fist was clenched and she had moved in close to him her tail whipping back and forth in anger.

Suddenly it sunk in that he had spoken and she went silent for a moment. He had spoken and she had understood what he had said. "You can speak our language, but before were you just pretending. Who are you?" she hissed demanding an explanation.

He wasn't fazed by her outburst of anger over what just did. He just chuckled for a moment.

"Actually I was not pretending at all earlier. I did not understand you at all. If I had not done that, we wouldn't be able to understand each other still."

He grinned for a moment before turning from her to the table. He picked through the food, sampling a bit of everything. He stretched his wings a bit as his tail moved back and forth lazily behind him.

"As far as who I am, you can call me Thratux. I used to rule this world long ago."

Not a complete truth, but he needed to know how long he had been asleep.

Her fists were clenched at her sides as she waited for his answer and when he laughed she wanted to yell at him some again. But she retrained herself when he started talking.

As she listened to his words Rahora started getting confused. A kiss had made it possible for him to under her, how could that be possible. Only spirits and creatures from stories had the ability to do things like that. Though she had never heard a kiss being used.

When he turned away, Rahora relaxed her hands and shook her head, watching as he picked at the food. She couldn't help but watch the way he stretched his wings, his wings were something amazing. Never had she seen wings like his on man or beast before.

"My name is Rahora and I am Queen of these islands. Thratux, I don't see how what you say can be true because the females of my family have ruled these islands for many generations." She told him, not believing his words, for how could they be true. "Plus I have never seen one of your kind before and I have travelled these islands since I was little. The only time I have heard of people with wings were in stories passed down, so I don't see how you could have ruled."

He grinned for a moment as he stayed turned away from her. He had been asleep for a very long time indeed. What perked his interest was he mention of people with wings. That meant that possiblely some dragons awoke early, took this form to survive, and Rahora's race was the current result.

"These people with wings, tell me more of them."

Of course he still wasn't letting on that he was the last of the dragons. He would reveal that soon enough. He turned from the table, looking around at the feast hall more. Deciding to tease and possibly annoy her, he focused on something just past her.

As he waited for her to speak, he walked past her closely. As he stepped past and moved further away, his tail swung close to hers. It wrapped lightly around hers, gliding along the length of her tail till he was out of reach.

Stilling as he walked past her, readying herself just in case he tried to grab her again. When he simply walked past her she let out the breath that she had not realized she had been holding. Yet just as she relaxed she felt his tail wrap around hers and stroke hers.

Gasping she turned quickly when he moved away, her temper flaring once more. Who did he think he was that he so casually kept touching her? Maybe it was something that was common from where he came from but the things he did were considered things you did with your lover or as a mated pair.

“Look here you might believe you ruled the world as you put it, but I am the queen here and you can’t do things like that,” she growled glaring at him. “As for the men with wings as I said they are only stories. It was said that long, long ago when our people were young, we were different from what we are now more. Some say we were no different to the creatures of the forests, but there are different stories on that. It is the same with the stories of the winged people. Some say that the winged people came and stole away some of our people, but the spirits who watched over us saved them changing them so that we were more than what we were.”

Moving she kept her distance from him but moved so she could look at his wings, she was still annoyed with him but they intrigued her.

“Other stories say that a man with wings appeared one day and showed our people strange things. It leads them to believe he was a spirit that had come to walk amongst us and then one day he vanished the same way he had appeared.”

She continued to move until she could look at his face. Her eyes narrowed as her face grew serious. Rahora didn’t beleive him to be a spirit but she needed to know if he was a threat to her people.

“So Thratux, are you a spirit or are you here to steal my people?”

He heard the anger in her voice, chuckling as she spoke. He pursed his lips for a mometn as he listened to her talk about the stories of the winged people. It didn't even come close to what he had figured she was talking about. No, if he was to regain his status and power, she was the tool to do it through. The rule by the female race was a little different to him.

As spoke, he wandered around the feast hall, easily but carefully pushing aside the tables full of food. He soon had most of the area cleared when she decided to ask him his true intentions.

He grinned for a moment when he turned to face her once more.

"You want to know what I am? I am older than your legends, older than your stories. I do not know how much you have truly explored this little world of ours, but you are still young. This place looks just big enough."

He moved to the center of the room, shooing her towards the outer edge. he growled low for a moment as he concentrated inwardly. A small globe of light appeared for a moment, slowly engulfing him before it started expanding. It shifted in various directions as it filled most of the area before winking out suddenly. In it's place was Thratux in his natural form.

His actions and words confused her. Why had he moved the tables the way he did, what had been the point? And when he spoke of how old he way she shook her head. How could he be that old, nothing lived that long. It was true they hadn’t explored the full length of the waters and lands but they were slowly venturing further and further. But it was his last words that really confused her.

Her breath caught as she saw the light appear, before it swallowed him. As the light grew, she thought of the lights they had seen the night before and she remembered seeing something fall from the sky. It had been Thratux; he had caused the lights and then fallen into the water causing the wave. Suddenly the light was gone and her eyes had to adjust for a moment. When they did she gasped at what she saw.

Without thinking she found herself scrambling back until she found herself pressed against a table unable to move any further. Looking at him, all of him, he was so big, bigger than what he had been before. “It can’t be real” she whispered trying to reassure herself, but even then she knew what was standing before her was very real. Standing there she tried to understand what was happening and a small part of it coming together in her mind.

“You were the one we saw flying from the ice islands” It was more a statement than a question. He looked more threatening in this forms and she thought about her people in the village. With this thinking she stepped forward adding strength to her words and pushing away fear.

“You didn’t answer me Thratux. Are you a threat to my people?” She was queen and she would protect her people. No matter what it cost.

He snorted for a moment as he looked down at her. He was liking this one more and more. She had a fiesty streak in her and one that would be quite fun to tame. It took a moment before his words reverbed in her mind, now that he knew her language.

"A threat..you make me laugh. Right now I am a creature who woke up in a strange new world that is vastly different from his own. Do you really think I would risk myself as the last of my race to be a threat?"

He lowered his head towards her, resting his head on the floor. His eyes studied her for a moment before he snorted again, his hot breathe flowing over and around her.

"A threat she asks. Do you really think I would be that dumb of a creature to openly attack a new and younger race? No, I know better than to pick a fight."

He gave a smirk, showing his large teeth for a moment.

"How about I give you a tour from above?"
