RIP Ozzy Osbourne

NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!

Ozzy Osborne made the world make less sense, and we were better off because of it.

Edit: I'm an unabashed hip hop & techno girl, but if you can listen to the guitars in Crazy Train and not be like "fuck Yeah" then you are an AI.

Dude, I played Guitar Hero: World Tour with my friends just this weekend and we unlocked his character in there!

I'm upset, man! Ozzy was one of the OGs that I got introduced to by my siblings when I was just a metalhead kid...

End of an era. He's been basically the spirit of Birmingham for years.

Perhaps they'll rename Spaghetti Junction after him.

While not unexpected, this is terrible news. The world got a whole lot quieter today. And a lot less fun. I'm off to enjoy a beverage with The Prince and Ms. Ford.

One of many Boomer-generation greats who have moved on in the past couple of weeks. Sad, but cycle of life and all that.

This one hurts. I've been a fan for forty years. Seen him live twice and watched his last concert on the 5th. Not a perfect guy, but an icon nonetheless. I hope he's reuniting with Randy over a heavenly pint right now.

I said goodbye to romance
Goodbye to friends and to you
Goodbye to all the past
I guess we'll meet, we'll meet in the end

RIP Ozzy, up there (or down there, but I like to think he went up even though he was the prince of darkness) creating havoc in heaven with his old mate Lemmy. Ozzy left us a legacy of amazing music from Sabbath ro his solo career, and as one of the godfathers of metal or as he liked to say 'rock and rolllllll', his influences on many other musical artists through the years shaped many amazing bands and songs

A performer to the end giving his last show a few weeks ago even with his health condition, a true legend

Yet another one of my favorite artists has passed. Freddie Mercury, Johnny Cash, Kenny Rogers, Jimi Jamison, and now Ozzy. 😔

Rest in peace.

War Pigs has been my ringtone for several years, an all time intro if there ever was one.

Man was the definition of a pioneer in his genre, an icon, a legend and a larger than life character.

Him and Hogan in the same week (I went to the first ever wrestlemania to see it on the big screen at the Providence Civic center with my first girlfriend) is like my teen years being taken away from me.
