I think obama is so arrogant that he thought just by 'wishing it' that 'it' would come true

this is just another example as to why government needs to get the fuck out of the 'enterprise'

to be honest, I wished that this was a fix and 'all' health care costs would have been reduced but clearly obama care is a turd stuffed in pretty packaging

until we have tort reform, and redo our legal system that the loser pays all legal costs, there will be no reduction in health care

I am Canadian. I am going to try and make pages and pages of thoughts on this subject as short as possible.

I oppose and opposed Obamacare, or any other socialized medicine, for the exact reason stated above. Anything the government touches, it turns to shit. I DO believe that access to quality heathcare for everyone SHOULD be a part of any first world country's fabric. The question, to me, is HOW do you do that and keep the government from getting involved, much less RUNNING the show.

This country invented the atomic bomb 70 years ago. Think about that. Still only a handful of countries have that technology, 70 years later. Its my belief, that if the US had a united front, and was motivated, really motivated, to do it... it could come up with a healthcare model that would be the envy of the world. Meaning: The highest quality of service, available for free to anyone and everyone, while still being efficiently run.

As long as the government runs it, in its current state, the best we could ever hope for is 'available and free to anyone and everyone."

One thing that I have to remember is that 99% of the left wing obama people come from nothing and have nothing. they have no dreams. they just want a free ride.

therefore the only the only thing that obama and those like obama want is to bring everyone down to their loser level. does that make sense?

I don't agree with either of those statements.

I am a conservative, living in liberal haven NYC. While there is a percentage of Obama supporters who fit your description, the percentage, IMO, is nowhere near that high. There are an awful lot of successful, ambitious people who are liberal. Lets face it, its split pretty much 50/50 in this country. I will never understand it, the same way that they will never understand the way we see the world. It makes no sense to me. What causes one person to fall on THIS side or THAT side? I will never know. But I work with smart people who are as 100% steadfast in their convictions as I am. And its like we are looking at two different worlds. Maybe its something as simple/complex as parallel universes. That makes as much sense as anything else.

Youve got it right... statistically though with the exception of the ones that Jen obviously highly overestimated the percentage of... the seemingly bright except when it comes to political things are more likely than not a product of indoctrination centers also known as major universities.

Statistics bear out that regardless of how they keep trying to tie to IQ and knowledge its not IQR knowledge that separates conservatives or Liberals its how much time irrespective of your IQ that you spent in a university... you're much more likely if you have an undergraduate degree even more likely if you have a masters and almost dead certain if you have a PhD.

Now they take that to mean that well obviously because they know more but then when you actually quiz them on what it is they know as the recent yell study showed they don't actually know more they simply spent more time in school with liberal professors filling their heads with liberal ideas that they don't seem to realize they are simply regurgitating.

They understand how propaganda works when its use for purposes that they see as evil and they rightly reject it 0 f**** news is indoctrinating people in there making people think a certain way... and of course that involves mindless zombie like followers.

But yet they can't see when they spent 4 6 8 10 years being indoctrinated that it had an effect on them and that propaganda took hold in them know they think they are creatures of reason Immune to propaganda besides its not propaganda if my liberal professor says it's all true
