This is sad. Michelle Trachtenberg played Dawn, Buffy's little sister in "Buffy the Vampire Slayer." Police responded to a 911 call and officers found Trachtenberg "unconscious and unresponsive". No suspicious circumstances. She was great - Dawn was a great character in Buffy and she had some other good parts as well. " Harriet the Spy." Loved that one when I was a kid.

And "Eurotrip"

I'm pretty sure a 39-year old woman dying all of a sudden is a "suspicious circumstance" in and of itself, especially if she didn't have any prior history with drugs.

In any case, this is indeed quite sad. I didn't watch Buffy but I remember her in EuroTrip; that movie is stupidly funny (or stupid but funny, depending on how you look at it).

Eurotrip was hilarious. Totally underrated movie. And Michelle was great as Jenny. I was addicted to Buffy tho. I still enjoy watching those.

RIP Michelle.

Very sad. She managed to pull off the role of Buffy's annoying little sister without being herself annoying.

Liver transplants are still well risky, unfortunately.

Damn. Even her hook up in Eurotrip found life as an obnoxious billionaire in Person of Interest (TV show from 10+ years ago).

Sucks to go under the knife.
