RIP Gail Zappa

Ah, R.I.P., Gail.

I still remember when Frank passed. Now it's just Moon Unit, Dweezil, Ahmet and Diva.

I was a substitute teacher when Frank passed away. I remember hearing the news on my clock radio, and REALLY not wanting to go in and deal with high school kids.

Zumi is one of Frank's 'natural' children. Zumi's legal name is 'Fish Stick,' his mom is the kid who played Timmy on Lassie.

It took me far too long to discover Frank Zappa's profound musicianship.

I'll hazard a guess that anybody who was married to him must have had a whole lot of patience. I can't imagine that he was easy to live with.

By all accounts, it was only his workaholicness that was a problem. I think the whole family reveled in his eccentricities.

Gone, at age 70. *sigh*

She must have had an incredible amount of inner strength, to be able to stand up to the energy emanated by the human hurricaine of creativity and intelligence that was Frank Zappa. The children that she nurtured are thriving. Thank goodness, she formed herself before this electronic age invaded all privacies.

:rose:
She was an amazing human.

In the light of everything that has come out about Gail, and the Zappa Family trust, I'd like to amend the above to say Gail was actually a mean, vindictive unhealthy person. Check the NY Times, and the Maron WTF podcast with Dweezil Zappa where he talks freely about his mother's shittiness.
