This time around, vague mentions and implications did not work for Trump.

Vague assertions can be answered by concrete answers.

Trump made a statement. Trump decided to get slippery, after he made the statement.

Trump clarified on Twitter that he drew his claim of immigrant violence in Sweden — made at a campaign speech in Melbourne, Fla. — from a Fox News segment in which two Swedish police officers were interviewed. The segment was part of “Tucker Carlson Tonight” and featured filmmaker Ami Horowitz, who was introduced as someone who had documented an “incredible surge of refugee violence” in Sweden.

The two Swedish police officers whose interview provided the basis for the report spoke out Monday and claimed that their testimony had been taken out of context. One of them, Anders Göranzon, said the interview was about areas with high crime rates and that “there wasn’t any focus on migration or immigration.”

“We don’t stand behind it. It shocked us. He has edited the answers,” said Göranzon. “We were answering completely different questions in the interview. This is bad journalism.”

A ‘look at what’s happening . . . in Sweden

President Trump caused confusion during a Saturday rally in Florida when he said: ‘‘You look at what’s happening last night in Sweden. Sweden, who would believe this?’’ Trump then mentioned the French cities of Nice and Paris and the Belgian capital, Brussels. The three European cities were all attacked by terrorists over the past two years.

Although Trump did not explicitly say it, his remarks were widely perceived in the United States and abroad as suggesting that an attack had occurred Friday night in Sweden.

(Sweden responded with WTF? No terrorist attacks, here. We have a moose sexually assaulting a wooden moose. We have drunken louts assulting police officers. No terrorist attacks.)

Trump himself attempted to clarify the remarks, tweeting on Sunday: ‘‘My statement as to what’s happening in Sweden was in reference to a story that was broadcast on @FoxNews concerning immigrants & Sweden.’’


Swedish newspaper Dagens Nyheter reported Monday. Two Swedish police officers who were interviewed by Horowitz said that their comments had been taken out of context. One of them, Anders Göranzon, accused the filmmaker of being a ‘‘madman.’’

Why did Trump drag Sweden into his fantasy of worldwide threats by terrorists ?


Sweden took in refugees, in large numbers. Sweden did a good job, considering. Sweden responded to a crisis, and took all the people it was possible to take. Migrationsverket [Sweden’s migration agency] took steps to tighten Sweden's borders. With such a massive influx of immigrants, came pushback. The Extreme Right Wing responded to the social crisis by making things worse.The problem is they are not America. America is centered on processing immigrants, orienting immigrants, and placing immigrants. America is enormous. America has huge resources. Sweden had a difficult time providing for their own lower income bracket.Out of a sense of responsibility, generosity and openess, they welcomed desperate people. That is what they do for their own people. They are a tiny country, and a tiny world community. They are doing the best they can, but they cannot work miracles.Once a year, all of the shit the immigrants take from the Ultra Right Wing arseholes, all of the bureaucratic horseshit, all of the institutionalized inaction,pushes the immigrants to protest in the streets.

The yearly protest came days too late for Trump to use it in his speech.It was not a terrorist bombing, or terrorist attack,like Trump tried to imply.Sweden is hardly a world power. Trump tried to switch out his implcation. Trump constantly tries to edit history. he wants a re write to be recorded. There are always people that will shove the truth in his face, where he can see it.

President Obama did not leave wiggle room in his pronouncements. His staements were specific and grounded in facts.

We never had to ask, "what the fuck are you talking about ?," when President Obama spoke. (Unless, it was someone that strictly adhered to the alt right dis information feed.)

As it is, Trump will not allow anyone to ask him-

"Trump, what the fuck are you talking about?"

I can see why Trump does not allow it. Trump would be forced to answer questions truthfully. Trump would be fact checked on the spot. Trump would spend his time getting nailed. Trump would not be permitted to indulge in an hour's worth of attacks, insults,propaganda, and lies.

There was no one there, to confront Trump immediately, when Trump implied the Second Amendment fanatics would take care of the problem of Hillary Clinton, by using their guns to kill her. Why is this still happening ? Why is there no strong, brave journalist that calls Trump on his bullshit, as soon as the nonsense leaves his mouth ?

Inconvienient truth-

Republican farmers need illegal immigrants to fill positions on a seasonal basis.Not all necessary work can be done by automated or mechanical means.Economically, it is a make or break situaion for the farmer.Having access to low cost illegal labor eases the economic pressure.

Once, again, the Republicans eat their cake (turn a blind eye to law breaking by high yield campaign donors from farm country.Deny the existence of economically necessary illegal migrant farm workers, therefore deny the medical need of all these invisible hands that contribute to profits, which in turn, profit the GOP machine.)

The cherry on top of the sundae is that Rep. Joe Wilson (R-S.C.), in complete hypocrisy, gets to throw a cream pie filled with bullshit at the face of sitting President, Barak Obama.

"You lie," Republican Joe Wilson yelled at President Obama. In front of the news cameras, in front of the world, he made the accusation.

A greater lie is that slavery ended in America's Deep South. There are traffickers in illegal human labor.North of the Mason Dixon Line, West of the New England line, someone is paid to bring in basic farm labor. The people forced to do the labor are faceless nobodies caught in a trap.They are treated no better than the animals that exist on factory farms. They are on American soil, but they do not have access to anything in the American costitution.

It was a gentleman's agreement, that President Obama would provide health care for their labor slaves without ruffling the surface. The Center for Disease Control has their hands full of diseases to keep from spreading throughout the USA population. They are dealing with flesh eating bacteria that accompany serious wounds, that are developing resistance.Dealing with Ebola and Zika.

Rep. Joe Wilson was a self seeking weasel that betrayed the gentleman's agreement. Wilson wanted to win an election in his district. Just like McConnel,that threw away the hard work of a negotiated agreement, a rare instance of partisan cooperation, for his own selfish gain.

The clueless applauded Rep. Joe Wilson, the world looked at him in shock. Those close to the matter groaned and looked pained. A wooden headed clueless fuck crowed like a rooster. President Obama understood very well that Republicans that actually had the ability to reason must have the public appearance of being completely opposed to whatever President Obama proposed. Today, I have no idea of what interagency diplomacy remains.

The Trump regime seems to be determined to destroy everything that enables this country to function.
