I think of similar things when I walk by a group of schoolchildren playing in their schoolyard or on an outing in a neighborhood park.

At what point do they lose the desire to play, have fun, make friends, create love and become the aging, bitter RW schmucks and shitstains I navigate through on this LIBERAL-created site?

I went to a high school reunion (suburbs of Washington D.C.) a few years ago and, yes, was shocked how many of those who graduated high school with me were right-wing knuckle draggers now. Being in the orbit of Washington, it was a school with a pretty mobile student population. We also were pretty affluent and were hell raisers at the time. But those at the reunion were mainly utlra-right knuckle draggers. I think it's because they were the ones who were entrenched and went no where and did nothing from high school. The rest were living elsewhere. I've lived all over the world since high school. I went to the reunion only because I was retired back to a two-hour drive from the school. I won't be going to another high school reunion.

It's a shame too because I liked some of these kids. I was close friends with one. But then the pro-Trump posts started appearing on his feed and I just gave him up for dead.

I think it's environmental, mostly. I know reactionary liberals and tree-hugging conservatives but today's Right Wing Assholes are more than just Darwinian throw-backs -- they were created in a Xenophobic Lab with Limbaugh-cum-Frankenstein screaming "Life! Life! Give my creations life!"
